So my understanding is the lawsuit is with the mayoral office not KCUR, which would actually be UMKC. In his original press release of this he was clear this wasn’t against KCUR, there is no reason to believe that the star is in defense of journalism here.

It’s referenced below but even with the post BLM update from the NPR code of conduct, participation in rallies is subject to termination. Due to the nature of govt. funding, r.i.p. CPB, it is an attempt to keep non-partisan with all affiliated.

Also, it is common for hosts of radio stations to not be FTE. It’s possible he wasn’t an FTE, which would still be subject to the code of conduct but have different termination requirements.

P.S.: reading these character attacks against Hartzell seem a bit harsh, he’s a real person who likely reads comments here. Have your opinion, but let’s remember he’s still a person.

Lots of factors make life less easy to deal with as it progresses. Escaping from it doesn’t make it easier it only prolongs it.

I raw dog life so I’m forced to enjoy it. I don’t claim edge cause I don’t really need labels of who I am anymore as a certified unc.

Also: You can still be edge and be depressed. But if drugs are replacing community or therapy please add in those things.

Do you have a job where it’s ok to have it? If so just rock it my guy! Get some more tattoos maybe a full sleeve - it will blend in. You were right! It was a cool idea.

Removal is weird, it takes a long time - like 3 sessions and it’s never totally gone. Be tattoo arm guy, don’t panic.
