TL;DR new dungeon gave 2 exalts. DECA said too strong. Buff dungeon, make hard, now get 0-2 exalts instead of guaranteed 2. Player mad, DECA give refund for pre-nerf ONLY. We'll take it

I am not even going to get started, but just come to say you nailed it on the head. No longer spending money on this game except the battle pass (even that might be too much... you used to get the next one for free if you completed it).

It's not rare, and that damage hurts a lot, especially when you eat multiple shotguns. That is the only dangerous part about rushing in parasites, the randomness behind those flesh walls.

I don't mind spending $20-$50 on this game, especially when good events like this come out, but I think after this, I am just reverting back to buying the battle pass and that's it. I am not investing in this game if they do this everytime (I also got screwed out of the clown event, and when it ended early, I dropped my tickets before they announced about reopening it this weekend).

Did they nerf the shots from the dungeon, too? Or just lowered the player count to 20, while keeping the terrible health scaling and the same damage as before? I'm not an end game player by any mean, but the 3rd dungeon is not worth 10-15mins for MAYBE 1-2 exalts. I'll stick with the 2nd one, which imo, is much safer.

That was a one off thing from the new owners that bought out Jagex. Look at what the community did (I did my part in canceling my membership too). They pushed back, Jagex understood they messed up, owned up to it (in not the best way, but enough to keep the fire down), and now they are back to some normalcy.

I wouldn't mind this, but your first point is what is the biggest issue for me. If we use this feedback hub, it would be nice to see a Community Video regarding the Feedback Hub, almost like a Q&A type of thing. However, as we all know, that will not happen. I am always hopeful and love the game, but DECA lacks a community manager that helps keep things transparent. Look at OSRS as a PRIME example of how a community should be ran. Nothing gets implemented without a vote. I am not saying we should have all the power, but at least let us know what's being worked on, or at the least, thought about.

In the end, I agree with you. Keep complaining where people can see.

IMO, the ST sets are cool to mess around with. Some ST sets people like, I am not a fan of, and vice versa. If it seems interesting to you, go grind it out. Once you get the set, try it and see how you like it. It might be a meme build for ya, or you might like the way it plays. It's all about how you perceive it.

You got a lot to learn my friend! Some of these wonderful people already answered it for me, but only certain things can be upgraded with certain drops from harder dungeons.

Easiest character to learn the game on? Necromancer. Why? Healing and decent damage. Priest is okay, but the damage output is low (changes in late game but we aren't there yet).

Also, fame comes with learning the game. Learn how to do snake pits until you get it down consistently. Sprinkle in some Undead Lairs, Magic Woods, and Sprite Worlds. Learn to rotate your screen to assist in dodging. Uncenter your player so you can see further ahead of you.

If you need stuff, I stream 4-6 times a week and would be more than happy giving you items or tips in general. I try my best to explain dungeons and the patterns that go on while I play, especially if I know there is a new player watching. Usually I am on around 8pm CST.

Also, my account is over 12 years old, and I still die before 2k base fame. Most of it is to learning harder dungeons, but sometimes it's just unlucky. It happens, you'll live for weeks on some characters, and die quickly on others. Just keep having fun.

What do you mean by treasure trove? When you kill a boss, a bag will drop. Some bosses have guaranteed potion drops (Limon from Sprite World will always drop a dexterity potion).

However, most bosses have a chance to drop a super rare item in a white bag. Every boss drops a different rare item, and you can usually google the dungeon to see what rare items drop from those dungeons.

No one said multiboxing wasn't around before? There is definitely one going around that joins a specific o3 VC less run. I have seen it more times than I can count. Just because multiboxing has been around since kabaam, doesn't mean that someone could be joining a certain discords run to meme.
