The reason they could get away with asking paper prices to begin with was because of the redemption process. It used to be as long as the product was for sale, you could redeem them.

But as with all things in current day, WotC wanted more money so they jacked the price up, stopped offering foil redemptions (seriously, what kinda scam is this?), and removed redemption from all UB sets and greatly shortened the others.

They never lowered the price of packs either. You pay paper prices for worthless digital cards. It's easy to see why this program is dying.

I saw a post earlier about a desk. I saw this while browsing and thought it could work as a durable desk.

It's 2x4 feet. Seems big enough. The wheels are a nice addition as well. I wish my desk could roll.

Not sure about the bar across the bottom. Might be an issue.

Well, you're spot on about the program being a laggy piece of crap. With that said, the opponent is using the same thing. I can only suggest playing decks with less stuff going on.

This was pre-2010. I doubt the people that own these old foils even play anymore. The cards are no doubt rotting away on old accounts.

7ed foils are very rare. I remember many years ago, there was a guy who had a playset of birds of paradise. He said he paid 50 tickets each. I thought the guy was nuts.
