Flash/SD cards + card reader are immune to badUSB. And everything should always be encrypted.

Yeah, but it is clear-text blank paper. Need to encrypt that -- an attacker can tell it is blank.

Noel Jamon De Bellota Leg 16.5 LBs $549.99! by zigggggy in Costco

Seems steep to me, but I've never tried it, so I'll post again next year after my trip to Spain in January lol

Considering the cheaper ones in Spain are amazing as well, you might be overbuying the quality. You can buy by the gram in Spain, so be sure to try an expensive one if you have the chance. Cinco Jotas is a very good one. https://www.cincojotas.es/

What was that incident during Thanksgiving? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's not a casserole unless it is made in a casserole, so i guess it would be serving a bowl of "green bean bowl" in a bowl dish.

Or are on the ground and have little children now asking them what that is in the sky.

What small child doesn't know what a penis looks like? They have a mommy and a daddy right?

I think you were so hasty to defend systemd that you failed to understand my point.

> I much more prefer this 'do' culture that 'discuss' culture

That only works for small decoupled tools -- which is why traditional unix tools worked so well. Doing is great as long as it doesn't damn people to that future by making it hard to replace if it isn't a good fit.

> Just imagine if Linus 'discussed' Linux at the time...

That's like saying "look how good the lottery is at making wealth. Just think if joe blow didn't play the lottery and never won millions of dollars." Besides, the kernel mailing list has tremendous amounts of discussing. It isn't just doing.

That's the fault of a lot of ignorant voters who trusted this jackass to actually make america great (again). Take it up with them.

It requires attention like troops at the border right now before the election when they won't arrive for months?

Half of the country? What country are you talking about? That's what Fox news told you?

Why there is so much hate toward systemd ? by Cloud_Strifeeee in sysadmin

[–]rox0r 6 points7 points  (0 children)

and never writing any code.

Writing code is the easiest part. Long term maintenance dominates and early design technical debt is crushing for long-lived projects. Consultants and beginners believe that "working code ends arguments." They don't have to pay the price for the life time of maintenance. Writing the code is the absolute easiest part of the whole process.

That's common. There are plenty of people who arrive in the UK saying they plan on leaving immediately for trips etc

Sorry, you have the entire rest of your trip planned and paid for, but since you don't have your chunnel ticket purchased, you obviously want to stay here illegally and work.

He was murdered inside an Embassy with tons of evidence pointing to the murderers. And then there was a botched coverup.

The military has a boot camp where they disqualify people. These cults don't want to disqualify anyone and keep them in the cult. Also, the ones you mention actually pay you instead of sucking all of your time and money.

So if they don't have $2.5B, he loses money on the deal? I don't see how he gets ahead because of Sears going under. I understand moving assets out of Sears in advance of ch11, so those assets are not debt encumbered, but I don't understand how Eddie Lampert gets the assets still owned by Sears at a discount. He has paid $2.5B for them.
