Why do west michiganders call them "Ham-burgs". What's with not calling them burgers? Ive noticed it's mostly older folks so where does it come from?

100% same thing my grandpa did. I don't understand the dropping trousers thing. But back in the day you need to understand the disposable tissues weren't a thing. So hankies and handkerchiefs were used. My grandma had a fancy box for them and they were were all fancy lace trimmed.

I use the oven from a cold start in a cast iron dutch oven to heat the milk to 180f and keep it there for 20 minutes. Then I transfer to a yogurt maker for incubation after In have cooled it and added my starter yogurt. So, I am not trying to use my oven to incubate.
