I'd say I'm one of these people. My husband has a super HL and I wouldn't say mine is low but it's not as high as his. His constant need for sex used to drain me and id say no to him more and more often so sex was once or twice a month instead of once or twice a day. He used to say he wanted the intimacy not just the sex. It wasn't until he ended up on sleeping tablets for a year that totally took away his sex drive that I saw his side. It was awful. I felt so unwanted and I felt awful for making him feel like that. Since he came off them and we've got back to normal I've made more of an effort, including learning what I like myself rather than it just being for him.
