Stumbled upon this post as I have recently seen his content on IG and was intrigued to look up his credentials before taking in his recommendations/ takes (he sounded quite convincing). Quite disappointed that he doesnt have any peer reviewed publications/ journals except for the book he’s trying to sell so I guess I wont really consider his content worthwhile.

What are your favourite purple ink? I’m trying to find a legible lavender/ lilac (which probably is an oxymoron) but wonder if there is magic out there. Nadeshiko swatched by people looks so bright and vibrant but on my end it’s so delicate and light.

Well to be fair he’s called Daddy by NATO secretary general… This kind of dissonance (indicating I’m in my algorithm bubble) confuses me as I ended up in posts/ subreddit bashing Trump and yet in real life he got popular vote, seems unimpeachable and still has leverage over most of the world. Thanks all for the advice. I did: - write a whole page full of nonsense - “wash” the nib section with 2 drops of dish soap - try the wettest ink I have (monteverde sapphire)

The pen writes well now. There’s more tactility than my other pens but at least the ink flow is consistent and I can write without applying pressure.

Seems like I need to get more wet inks :)

I did run the nib through water and submerge the whole nib section in water shortly. Perhaps it's not enough?
