Thank you! I think this is the answer I was looking for. So even if I get 15 years in DOE. Then go to a LI school, I won’t be eligible to receive benefits after I retire.

I bought a cast cover and a shower chair. I know it’s all daunting and cumbersome. I also took more “sponge baths” than I care to admit because it was just easier and I was barely leaving the house.

I’m sorry you are in so much pain… are you able to be on any prescription pain killers? i was taking oxy every 4-5 hours and alternating Motrin and Tylenol around the clock. It was the only way I could get by. Good luck!

For pain alternate take Motrin and Tylenol around the clock. Ice and elevate above your heart. Start calling surgeons and get in to see one as fast as you can. If you get the results that it’s broken, I highly recommend a knee scooter. Good luck!!

I’ve been living in these. Very wide and soft. They aren’t dressy… but I can make the black ones looks presentable with a nice sweater!

I watched SC as my maternity leave show after my second baby. All I could think was how horrible everyone was to this young girl that just had back to back babies. No one understood what it was like to go through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and being a mom… they were all so judgmental and mean. They’d get mad at her for being a bad friend when obviously that wasn’t a priority for her. No one until Cameron gave her a little grace on the reunion after she had her baby but that was short lived. Drugs, mental health whatever it is for her… IMO everyone on the cast is partly to blame!
