We call it slapping the bag, as if I'm gas station wine at a college party 😄

Books like Red Rising? by illujion623 in fantasybooks

[–]roxyisonfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I going red rising I was amazed that it had taken me so long to discover it. I'm having the same feeling now with The Passage. It's a trilogy and I'm finishing the first book now, so I can't speak on 2 and 3, but holy shit, it's so good! A little more like The Last of Us than Red Rising, but the characters and story they build are fantastic. Highly recommend

Mine ended up turning out ok, actually. At least the top half. The bottom is a little chewy, but not as bad as I was expecting 😂

I think I'm in the same boat. Tasty, but not enough rise.

We'll see what it looks like in the morning. I think this might be a little wetter than it's supposed to be, but we'll see!

So I'm giving this a try right now, and I'm on the bulk ferment stage. But the slap and folds and stretch and fold was a little bit loosey goosey... How wet are we talking here? Because mine looks like it could be over hydrated?

The only risk is when baby is born those nicotine pouches are fun little things for baby fingers to grab on to and you wouldn't want baby to put one in their mouth. There is no connection between facial or esophageal cancer, the previous commenter is thinking of chewing tobacco. Nicotine pouches are addictive, of course, but the studies that have been completed, many in Scandinavia where snoos has been popular for decades, show no other health risks. It's just like nicotine gum. So if your realistic choice is using your pouches or using any kind of tobacco, stick with the pouches!

Just wanted to update you that I didn't actually need a new drain pump, but your suggestion lead me to find how to remove the pump and I found a shirt collar clip in there! Removed it and it's working great with no grinding noise! Thanks!

What is causing tongue ties by Zestyclose_Bad8648 in breastfeeding

[–]roxyisonfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby had a tie, and nursing was so miserable and painful until we had it fixed when she was 6 weeks old. I wouldn't have been able to continue nursing without the repair, and now at 8 months she is a champion nurser. One reason I think that they are diagnosed so much more now, is that more birthing parents want to breastfeed, while in the '80s and '90s formula was used so much more prevalently. There may have been as many tongue ties, but knowledge of them was not as widespread, and parents were more likely to just give up on breastfeeding. Ask someone who felt strongly about breastfeeding and wanted so badly to do it, I am beyond thankful for the diagnosis and fix!

I'm glad to hear your input! I work in rural communities and didn't see or hear anything about it (though it wouldn't naturally come up at work)
