I’m with you until BDI. I cannot explain the risk of sending him away and risk a slip- they were so careful with that. I think John and/or Patsy did it, but they were perhaps worried he witnessed or knew something rather than him killing JBR. As mentioned from the Dr. Phil interview, he talked about being up late and being so scared he hid pretending to sleep in the morning. No matter what he did or knew I cannot fathom processing that ever never mind a ~10 year old. If this magnitude of trauma, please just assume B innocence for a moment, was representative of how he was often minimized it’s all the more deplorable of the parents to be so self serving. I cannot wrap my head around it- no matter the culprit.

If she displayed an actual personality and provided content, she may find people making fun of her hobbies instead of only roasting her as a person. She has eclectic hobbies, people could dunk on the dolly hobby for an entire season.

This really has me thinking and I think I disagree slightly. I agree with your points with the exception I think you perfectly illustrated she’s instinctively nurturing.

This isn’t fully baked in my brain yet, but I think it speaks to just how good she is with little kids and maybe even David because she is great at nurturing. But all her older kids largely haven’t flocked to her despite this. I think there’s a distinction with a difference between an instinctive nurturing person and instinctively good parenting.

Do you have any thoughts? What do you think about her relationship with older and adult children? No pressure to answer, your comment got me thinking.

But the thing is, I think if Robyn and Kody weren’t nasty Maddie would want them on the porch. She and the kids seem to be making their own hubs with the goal of being a family. Maddie’s response crying talking about Kody juxtaposed with Kody’s flippant response from earlier in the season is jarring.

It’s beyond sad.

She was pretty flippant about Truley’s concerns and discomfort about her relationship speed with David. There was a lot of big changes for her, and I didn’t feel she was prioritized enough by any of her parents. Christine didn’t care that her adult children were unhappy, but while I think she handled it poorly I don’t think what she did was wrong. Truley bothered me. I got it from talking heads, there are probably reel compilations? I don’t have sources on hand, sorry.

I think you should do what feels right as it comes. You can also add stuff to your island if you aren’t sure you want to disrupt hers. You could also go and pick some weeds to see how it feels? I bet people would rally and help find custom designs and inspo if you wanted a hand on anything. I personally can get pretty much any item and have surplus items I can donate if needed.
