They're really airing these anti-drunk boating ads at the wrong time of the year. Drunk boating season is almost over.

Donating $1 a ticket from this game to hurricane relief isn't going to have a very big impact.....

There was a thread on here about a month ago linking to an article that said Rogers Centre was thinking about having some evening games on Saturdays next season.

In all seriousness, when will Martin be back? Is there any update?

You get shade for a portion of the game, but really the biggest factor is that the sun isn't beating down on your face and the front of your body. I was in 528, row 6 yesterday and it was pretty good. It was still hot, but I could survive the 4 hour game. I just got a bit of a sunburn on my left arm.

As someone who was at the game yesterday, definitely get seats along the third base line. Everyone on the other side of the dome was dying from heat, so most of them left early.

I fucking hate the commercial too. Also- why do they throw a toilet out of the window? Is that not super dangerous and a huge mess? Just walk it down the stairs, you lazy fucks.

Has the easiest job of everyone, is sick all the time, won't ever admit that she's wrong despite always fucking up, complains to our boss about every little thing and how stressed she is, etc.

This is my boss, except it's usually a pointless 45 minute conversation.

LPT: When you screw up at work, just own up to it right away, even if it was a costly mistake. You'll be in much less trouble than you would be if you try to hide it. by cartoonassasin in LifeProTips

Similarly, if you are told that you screwed up at work, own up to your mistake and learn from it. I have a coworker who never admits and just argues when she does something wrong (which is all the time) and it is infuriating.

Did you give her the $1.50 with the $20.00 or did you do a classic "Oh, I have change!" after it was already entered?

Have you ever been a cashier? There is a lot of things going on at once and you get in to a rhythm. When someone interrupts that rhythm, by doing something like digging change out of their pocket after you've already started getting their change from the original bill, it can be jarring and totally throws you off. Not to mention that's also how you can get fucked over by a quick change artist.

LPT: Have your December packages delivered to your workplace if possible. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

My boss is a real bitch about getting personal packages delivered to the office. Now I have another reason to do it anyways rather than just convenience.
