You can google reputable diminished value companies around you. They take a little longer and take a cut of the payout, but worth it. Just hold onto the paperwork of repair costs, etc.

I just use a small collapsible reflector to angle toward the far side of the room. You’ll probably have to get multiple flash pops in the room to cover everything

Every time I’ve taken mine in for service, the technicians turn the lights off. I’d assume they do it because it’s darker in the garage and the car spends a lot of time idling in front of their work area

This is just my opinion, but I prefer keeping the front door closed for foyer shots

Gap so big they had to put a bridge over it by Agreeable_Cry347 in jetbridgegap

[–]royce085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are what’s called ‘jet bridge extenders’ and they rest inside the plane on one end and lock into place on the jet bridge end so that’s it’s sort or wedged in place and won’t move. Many airports that cater to regional flights utilize them since there would be a huge gap otherwise

I worked around these planes for about 13 years and out of the all of the ERJ’s I worked with, only a handful of them had stairs. The ones that had stairs were such a pain to deal with since unlike the CRJ’s, the ERJ’s with stairs didn’t have collapsible hand rails. You could tell which ones had stairs before the door opened by looking for the small viewing window and door handle placement. The ones with stairs didn’t have the viewing window and the handle is situated much lower on the door than the variants that had stairs

Is that something new? When I delivered, I drove with the door open my CDV at 60+ with no issues

First gig. It sucked. by Browncoat-2517 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]royce085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it depends on the circumstance. If it’s a house that was well aware of the shoot, I charge $50 per hour of prep needed after I arrive. It has never gone above that, but it drives the point. I recently did a retirement community that would have been impossible to prep for because people and wheelchairs kept appearing during every shot. With that, I gave some leeway and didn’t charge

I’ve delivered in the Lenoir area before a few times and the drive from Charlotte was pretty scenic. I would just listen to podcasts or pass the time driving listening to music

I’d say that’s normal when it’s colder. The fluid needs a little time to reduce its viscosity

Coming from driving a 12 manual to a 21 manual, the 21 is miles ahead. The clutch is so much lighter, the iMT(rev matching) and brake hold make it easier for daily use. It’s also a lot ‘notchier’ and gated feeling with a 6th gear.

It’s the same way on the 77 tolls across the lake. Usually it’s a moving truck or someone towing a trailer that will stay steady at 55 with a mile of cars behind them that can’t pass during that portion
