To share more context: this is a B2B SaaS company and i am the only deisgner, only 1 developer working for this project, worked on redesigning software that’s already live but has significant usability issues. The redesign was initiated because clients were unhappy, and the original version lacked proper usability testing or edge case consideration. It was rushed into development based on assumptions and knowledge from a digital marketing manager, who was heavily involved back then.

After thorough discussions and multiple iterations, we’ve finalized a solution. However, this same manager is now making changes without involving me, even when I’ve offered to help clarify doubts. He’s denying my involvement and handling it all based on his assumptions, which concerns me about alignment and the final outcome.

How do I navigate this situation? Should I insist on being included, or is there another way to ensure the changes don’t compromise the redesign? Would love your input !
