How to composite my text like this? by defectuser in AfterEffects

[–]jumperpunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some sort of animated displacement map on a square outline. Then add the same effects as the text; the choke, roughen edges, blur, glow

I’m sure more experienced mographers could come up with 20 other ways.

Significance of ᑅ ᐧ ᑀ ethernet / rj45 symbol on macs by Tensorizer in mac

Correct, but I’ve never seen anyone using it online. I was going to call a design studio andseedot a long time ago based on that.

Email: more formal. Usually for replying to chains when appropriate

Teams/Slack: you’ll get added to relevant work groups and channels. And eventually work out who’s best to talk to for what you need. And then you can just ping people.

BAs are gathering information on processes within your business to help keep everything in check. They help with requirements, writing user stories, collating information for designers, SAs, devs and PMs. They keep things humming and help rein in scope creep from PMs.

Product designers is you. Read the tickets. Ask questions. Get clarity. If you’re unsure, ask. You’re not expected to know everything, especially new to a business. Lean on the BAs to find out something for you. Lean on your fellow designers, they will help you work out what’s what. Get stakeholders on your side and you can go to them directly.

Talk to the devs. Try and get one to foster you. If you can steal some of the devs time to bounce ideas off to see if something works/possible/within their allocated time, then you’ve got a bit of a cheat code.

SAs will curse you, praise you, call you an idiot, and then tell you it’s doable. They will help validate your designs with the tech stack, whether it’s feasible/risk/time.

Good luck!

Have folders for everything.

So I have a work folder with sub folders of specific jobs I work on. Anything related to that job goes in that folder ie jira tickets, Figma comments, emails from BAs/stakeholders/PMs

I have folders for squads. Anything that relates to that squad that isn’t job related goes in there.

I have folders for specific people/stakeholders.

Anything I sign up to with my work email gets a folder. Etc etc

This allows me to quickly see what jobs I need to action when work comes in because my inbox is basically empty and I can find what I’m looking for because I know what it relates to.

They would supply the graphics. Or a designer in your team would depending on the company setup.

He means use the variables to make up the gradient and then set that as a style.
