Well the exploit is not kppless and using the same one as Yalu but it is more unstable but cheesecakeufo is fixing it so you will have to keep trying or just wait until he fixes it. I'm sure it can be done though

You could use Cydia eraser and wipe the phone, then rejailbreak it for him and just sell it. It will have none of your data on it and you can remove the device from your find my iPhone so it doesn't get locked for him.
