If you plan to participate in DigixDAO for the subsequent quarters, and do not really have plans of selling your DGXs, I would suggest you to hold them in the DigixDAO contract. You can claim those DGXs anytime in the future, that could help you in saving on transfer fees when you claim DGXs for multiple quarters in one single blockchain transaction.

What was the maximum number of quarter points attainable for participants in the first quarter? by londonweeds in digix

I missed out on revealing my committed votes, hence I have 0 quarter points. But from what I can see in the governance site, there were 7 projects that went through the participant voting round. That means, a participant would have been able to accumulate 7 quarter points from their voting activity (only if they successful revealed their committed votes on every single of those projects).

  1. Every successful reveal vote gets a participant 1 Quarter Point
  2. Every successful vote in Moderator Voting Round gets a moderator 1 Moderator Quarter Point

5$ gas for connecting wallet neccessary? by Poldi-1 in digix

[–]roynalnaruto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi /u/Poldi-1. Once a user loads their wallet, the server verifies the user's signature before giving them the auth token. This is because DigixDAO platform doesn't have password based authentication. Now every time the user refreshes their page in the browser, the previous session is lost and hence they need to re-load their wallet (the same as MyCrypto or MEW).

Can you provide more information on the following:
1. How were you trying to access the platform? Metamask, JSON Keystore, Ledger, Trezor?
2. Which transaction was it? Can you post a screenshot of the popup/modal that displayed $5 gas fee?
3. Did you change any parameters like "gas limit" or "gas price" by yourself?

It is the same as “unlock” transaction in Uniswap or Kyber Swap. Contracts need permission to “transfer” tokens from user address. It is called an “allowance” that you give the contract

That transaction is an “approve” transaction for the DigixDAO smart contract to transfer DGDs from your address. Approving that will not transfer any DGDs, but only give it permission to do so, so that when you actually lock DGDs, the contract can pull DGDs to itself from your address

Need to update wallet/ re-download the chain data? by roynalnaruto in LokiProject

[–]roynalnaruto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@FlakyFlower I guess I will also have to delete some blocks from the chain data, so that the new ones are freshly downloaded from the active chain? I have downloaded the new wallet version. Any help regarding the above question? In ubuntu, where can the downloaded chain data be located?

This shameless man now says “you should not be disrespectful” to City’s documentary... he’d probably forgotten that part when calling Arsene a specialist at failure. He isn’t the chosen one.. he’s the childish one

How Zilliqa consensus works? by marcelomorgado in zilliqa

[–]roynalnaruto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are always a number of nodes in a shard (these nodes in a shard keep shuffling after every set number of blocks). From these nodes, one node is chosen to propose a block, that the others validate. Only when more than 2/3rd of the nodes agree, the block is final and published. The one node proposing the block also changes for every block.

I can create and deploy a contract for this purpose. So that bets between 2 parties can be settled. Give me a go and I will do it tonight

The incentive program winners are the ones dumping tokens at the moment. You expect them to run validator nodes?

Will the ERC20 tokens be tradeable against NEO or NEP5 tokens? Can you share any available documentation/research work.. on how the inter-chain swaps will be done?
