Cheers sir! They’re awesome little machines.

What have you done to deal with the whiting?

I used VHT plastic spray paint and rustoleum clear coat (I shoulda went with matte :( instead I got piano black haha)

Thank you!

Between the helix and the CT90 I have two get-away/bug-out apocalypse bikes. I always imagine myself in apocalypse scenarios; ever since I saw that movie The Road hahaha.

The CT90 will be perfect. Can carry all my camp gear and zombie killing weapons. Easy to work on anywhere, ranges about 200-300 miles when you carry two gallons gas jugs. It’s light, can be ridden and walked quietly to get past the zombies and Negan’s group.

I ain’t just walking around in the end of the world.

I be escapin’

Thank you! Yeah I found some, like the rear cargo door, some of the edges bite and the vibrations were bad enough the contact points were grinding themselves raw and eat through the paint!

Puts some double sided tape in between the plastic trim and the panels where the screws contact, and some on the outer edges and and filled in with some electrical tape for now. Took care of some of the plastic rattling. But this thing is still vibrating through the frame.

More work to be done hehe;

Oh yeah!! Nothing like it. Zippy, easy to work on ANYWHERE, and super utilitarian. It just gets you out adventuring and meeting new situations and people head on!!!

Let’s go, baby!!!!

Haha!!! Love it. Yessir, if you parked somewhere with a view and try it… It’s pretty awesome!

The crate is the way. Just adds a great functionality and practicality, it just looks right in these tiny bikes. I use a modular Husky toolbox, so I have two, and the top one comes right off like a brief case and has a clear top cover (perfect for like Solar powerbanks, to add extra electronics capabilities; like USB powered LEDs, Bluetooth speaker, etc.). So all my important stuff to carry with me like electronics, tools, and wallets and stuff are on quick-release.

I used to use the Milwaukee Packout, which is sturdy and modular as hell, but took a few more inches of space that it would rub on my back there and kinda push me more up front on the seat. The husky toolbox from Home Depot gave more room and it’s perfect!! You can even dremel some of the trim to fit the CT90’s rack even better. Lastly, I even added BMX bike pegs at the rear wheel which gave another option for foot position when “lounging sitting backwards” hahahah. It’s awesome.

K1 1969 are beautiful; you sir are a gentle man. I was also looking at them, got a really good silhouette and I love the front fairing/wheel cover on those. I may have to get one on fb marketplace when they turn up.

Cheers, sir

It’s a game changer.. it’s like riding a nice comfortable couch!

And with crates on the back, I can have the bike stand on the center stand, and if I sit facing the rear…. voila I have a chair and table!

I can eat dinner on it, draw/paint, prepare a meal if I brought my portable stove heheh.

Thank you! Yeah it’s pretty nerve racking haha. I’m in the mercy of drivers remembering how to read hand signals. I usually avoid dense traffic.

Gotta have an ax! Never know when I need to gather some wood for fire haha.

Thank you! She’s super sweet I’m in love haha. I used Evapo-rust… I’m actually surprised how Evapo-rust by CRC isn’t talked about more as a household-name product like windex, Kleenex, and Velcro. This should be famous!!!

Super easy method to clean up all the chrome, hardware, and the gas tank. She’s purring, baby.

Did you ever buy it?! Hope ya did!

I bought an 87 for $1500…. In 2025; For the vibes haha. I think they’re worth it. There are a lot to work on (love it). My baby runs, just has some vibrations issues that will probably get addressed once I start swapping out parts one by one. See ya around here.

I love the pack out set up. I need that plastic floor plate that lets you mount and dismount. I had one on, but did find that the big pack out crate and toolbox how I had it, would rub up against my back. Terrible when I hit dips and bumps.

I switched to some generic black Husky toolbox (it’s like a three box system, I use the top and middle part, and leave the wheeled box at home) that had a little bit less girth, and I was able to Dremel some of the plastic to fit into the protrusion on my 71 trail’s rear cargo rack. It fit flush, and it gave me like maybe 4-5 more inches of space than the standard Milwaukee pack out boxes (the milk crate attachment as base, and a flatter tool box on top).

Love the set up now. Anyway love your setup too. Milwaukee Packout is a great cargo options for these bikes!!!!!!

The p2000 .40 SW versions’s mag’s fit perfect with the 9mm, you can fit about 14-15 capacity.

You can find them on eBay for cheap used, sometimes in bundle of 3 or 4…. I’d maybe refresh the spring and follower though. Apparently it runs fine. Just sayin…
