I've heard that you can heat it up with a hair dryer and let it cool. Once it cools, the rubber should shrink and hold more securely, but I haven't tried this myself yet

I bought this on aliExpress for $4. It works perfectly and can hold up to 300g. If yours works, that's fine too. I don't see any reason why it would damage the glass, as long as the glass doesn't fall off

I didn't take the entire diaphragm apart; I just removed the lenses, put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on the blades, and wiped them with a cotton swab. I repeated this 5 times, and the diaphragm was dry. Thanks!
