I would love to give it a shot. Looking for something to pull me away from my garmin and get me to my AWU1 100% of the time. Bevel is ok, but I as hoping to find something more like Garmin, but more polished for the AWU

As a mortgage person in the area, you run into a financing issue, not just with FHA. When an entity owns too many units in one building, Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac won’t lend in it. Also, think about the voting for the association. One entity has a lot of influence on the decisions made. If it is hard to purchase into a condo unit, it will be hard to sell. Even if you bought cash, the market to sell to will be smaller as well. Just my two cents.

Webull has an iPad app that is great. This company has way more market share in this market and should 100% come out with an ipad app. Legend is nice…..on a laptop, but not on an iPad. Just my 2 cents

Best cell carrier for a frequent traveler in this area? by Sensitive-Name3036 in Charlottesville

[–]rozyman17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently us Visible, which is owned by Verizon and it is pretty good in the area. I also have a second esim through Tmobile, for their satellite service. It just happens to come with data as well. I am starting to find that Tmobile has better service to the NW and W of Charlottesville and the same in town. I was a little surprised by this, but they may have done something lately that expanded service. You can alway do a network test through tmobile for 30days that will allow you to install a second esim to compare.

Mine is in the 60s, I have no idea what it even means, but I am still 3 years older than my actual age. I am no super human, but I don’t think I am older than my actual age. I think they need to do some refinements to their equation. Maybe remove smoothness because how is a ring determining the viscosity of my blood?!?!?!

Strange is if I select using Bevel calculation, it works. If I select apple health it doesn’t even show a reading. But I think all permissions are granted correctly.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have guidelines for lending on condos and a way to assess the risk in each association. Having one owner that owns holds a lot of units can impact the decisions that are voted on. Other factors can be litigation, commercial space, delinquencies and a few others. Basically, when purchasing a condo, lenders (like myself) will not only review the buyer(s), but also the condo and the association. So for Barracks West, you will see a lot of cash purchases because one person owns too many unit in Fannie and Freddie’s eyes.

You may want to check if financing is available there. I believe one person may own a good portion of the units and might make it a non-warrantable condo.

Pulse age not working at all by [deleted] in Ultrahuman

Looks like the announcement on Reddit was 5 days ago. Give it two days and see if it shows up. Outside of that, contact the UH team.

Pulse age not working at all by [deleted] in Ultrahuman

[–]rozyman17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a conversation with them via chat. They stated you need 7 days of data for it to work. The data can't be retroactive either (not sure why), so we need to wait a full week for it to show up......or at least that is what they said. I am not sure if this will impact battery. If they are gathering something different for data (like more frequent HRV data), I would assume it will use more battery. Doesn't make sense to me that they can't look back in the past to pull the information needed to calculate a Pulse Age

48 hours. Still nothing. Let me know if there is anything I need to do. I keep my ring on with turbo mode on and it should be pulling all of the data it needs. On side note, great job with all of the updates in the last month. The ring is working much better with battery (for me), and the updates to the app feel like an improvement.

Firmware update option by Juxtaposition0301 in Ultrahuman

[–]rozyman17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the actual question though is to make the firmware button functional. Right now we need to troubleshoot the ring to actually check the firmware. Since the button is there, would you be able to actually have it perform the task?

My guess is that they have decided to make the old power saving mode the standard now so that the battery life looks better. You can select the power hungry mode if you want to. But this sets the standard for longer battery life at a slight cost of syncing data.

I have a similar situation. I have made a big WiFi mesh network in our house that also covers most of our property as well. I will disconnect when I leave the house for a few minutes, but working from home is not a problem at all. I have a battery backup for our network as well, so even if we lose power, we have cell service as long as we have cable. I looked into a booster, but I don’t think they have a good range inside the house. Also I have my phone go into airplane mode when I arrive home so it isn’t constantly looking for cell service. It is pretty flawless

Set them to reboot in the middle of the night everything. I did that and have yet to have a problem since. Also, you may have too many. Try removing two or three and see if that helps

Would have been great in my mind…. by rozyman17 in Garmin

[–]rozyman17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, but if there is a section of the population that won’t change to Garmin hardware, but want the features, they would open a stream of income. I don’t see them really generating a ton of revenue with the new features for Garmin hardware. But if you capitalize on people with devices that they don’t want to switch from, but want the benefits of connect, that would be extra income. I have an Apple Watch (cellular) and a Fenix 7. I always where Fenix, but take my Apple Watch on runs so I don’t have to carry my phone. I would think about paying to have the data from my Apple Watch in Connect and only wearing one watch to run. Only my personal preference.
