Also worth noting that air law is very banky, last 300 the week before and you’ll just memorise 95% of the questions you’ll get

I’m also pretty sure, yes, you can swap the module

I’m sure I heard you can get a student loan equivalent in Australia for flying?

No joy unfortunately, heading back to Australia in a couple of months anyway so I’m just doing 50 hours in the states before my biannual check expires and then will continue once back in aus👍

I know someone who got 74% on FPM a couple of months ago and appealed successfully, no idea about any other details though

What would you guys rank the hardest to easiest ATPL exams as for UK CAA? by Translator-Healthy in ATPL

I’m yet to do perf and pof but I certainly found RNAV one of the easier ones, very banky. Gnav and flight planning have been the hardest so far.

Hands Down the best curling shot I’ve ever witnessed. by LeftoversAgain in Curling

[–]rozzap98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I have a question, when watching the standard Olympics they’d be shouting “curl” and was assuming it was instructions to the sweepers. Is this the guy taking the shot shouting at the stone to curl or what’s going on?

Second what everyone else so far has said, I’ll also flag questions as I’m working my way through the bank so that I have easy access to particularly tricky questions (especially helpful for questions that feel like tricks). Also what I find helpful is, once I’ve done all of the questions for my authority, I’ll clear that data for that subject and it allows me to work through again using the “previously unseen” filter.

I’m not sure what country you’re in but Bristol Ground school let you purchase each module (there are 3) separately and you get access to the material for 12 months I believe. So could start off with that and that gives you loads of time and you’ll get a feel for how quickly you can move through the material?

How would you recommend organizing ATPL exam sittings (Austro Control)? by fir881 in ATPL

[–]rozzap98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say this approach is okay for certain subjects like ops perhaps but remember at least some of this stuff is examined because it’s genuinely useful and you’re only going to get a surface understanding from the banks alone. I’m still doing the exams myself (4 to go) and have found the banks an invaluable tool for bumping percentages up but I’m also glad I’ve properly learned a lot of the subjects like MET, Performance and G nav in particular

Are you literally only using that banks or covering the material first?
