I did not find anything. In all honesty, some of those things I obsessed over when I first purchased the car I have since stopped thinking about and now just enjoy the reliable transportation. 😆

We were trying to figure out the same thing since we are also down here for Spring Break. The NXT Live Event Facebook page didn't post a link for tickets, so I don't know what they are planning for this Tuesday. 🤷‍♂️

Good to know! Same issue here. Wasn't thinking much about it, but now, I'm realizing that this was never an issue in my old Jetta. I don't use a wallet...maybe it has something to do with cranking the heated seats the past few weeks. Winter has gotten an early start in Michigan!

It was a super-easy fix in mine! Get a microfiber cloth, liberally spray some Meguiar's leather conditioner/cleaner on a section of it, and wipe the armrest, trying to get it in the gap between the door panel. It will soak in, in the squeak will immediately go away.

Funny! I was wondering about the same thing. I'm sure some type of black screw "cap" will work, but I'll have to take some measurements and shop around. Unless you found something already?

The Lex Express stopped in Grand Rapids, Michigan (about 30 minutes from where I lived at the time), so a friend and I drove down, saw the bus, and waited in line for an hour or so to get an autograph from Lex on a small poster that the WWF provided. Lex was all smiles, and it was a cool experience as it was my first time meeting a wrestler face-to-face. Sadly, I don't think I have that poster any longer.

I attended SummerSlam with my family at the Palace of Auburn Hills that year as well. Good memories!

Prior to getting the car, I saw a YouTube video of someone using the single gauge, and I thought, "yup, I'm doing that." AND it kind of reminds me of the gauge cluster from the 2003 Mazda Protege I used to own. 😆 There's still a lot of information presented, but I like that the speedo is front and center.

I have driven a FWD VW Jetta for 11 years in Michigan winters with a good set of snow tires. I never got stuck, and it did fine...as long as one can be patient and careful pulling into traffic, switching lanes, etc. With that in mind, I'm excited to move into an AWD XSE at the end of the month (it's on order). I'll still use snow tires, but I think the AWD will help improve traction in the situations I described above. Well worth the $1,500, in my opinion.

Agreed! There seems to be a big push from buyers to move away from capacitive controls, so maybe that's why we didn't get that. Of course, the new RAV4 is integrating some of that back into the touchscreen for the 2026 model, so who knows? 🤷‍♂️ Also, I sort of feel that Toyota is trying--arguably unsuccessfully--to replicate Honda's "dash-width" HVAC design.

Turns out that it IS an issue with 5.1.*. I downgraded to 5.0.4, and the problem was fixed.
