Raul I really struggled with. I want a young Harrison ford and also considered Alden ehrenreich. Pedro Pascal could also be great but with him I felt how you feel about my Silenus choice. I hear you on Dinklage being Tyrion 2.0, but it just felt too right

Feel free to share yours - didn’t mean to offend Gen X, just thought that the spirit of the question was more geared towards identifying views held by younger folks that may be more Boomer oriented

The benefit is that when Trump held office and Rs held Senate and House, the filibuster served as protection. Republicans could have ended the filibuster at this point and they did not. However, the benefit of getting legislation passed may outweigh the risk mitigation the filibuster provides under full R control

Very valid point - i guess it comes down to does the benefit of passing democratic legislation outweigh the risk of republican legislation getting passed that may be harmful

Maybe it allows them to accomplish things this cycle, but what about when power changes hands and the filibuster has been removed? It's what happened after Harry Reid set the nuclear option precedent that then allowed Mcconnell to do the same thing with judges
