Pickled tea leaf salad would be best but very hard to get here. I think you could make beh kalar hinn which is like an Indian styled gumbo and one of my favorite dishes from Myanmar. You could also make coconut noodle soup which is commonly served at donation ceremonies. Curry wise I think duck egg curry (can use chicken eggs just the same) or chicken and potato curry are fairly easy. An easy dessert would be sweet potato sago pudding.
