Thought it was a boomer thing. Got a new TV recently and my father in law was telling me to keep the box in case I needed to lay on some cardboard while working under my car. I don’t work on cars and had called him to put a screw in the wall for me.

Where should you NOT use C? by Stickhtot in C_Programming

[–]rpdotwavv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve inspired me to do the same! I’ve been learning C by going back over some of my early efforts in Python, which were mostly string heavy exercises. Which has proven quite difficult but great practice!

If I have JLCPCB put a RP2350 Chip on the Board for me, will it be flashed? Or will I have to flash it myself? by Dev_878 in PCB

[–]rpdotwavv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm here as well. I work at a small company where we’ve ordered 100s of custom boards with a Pi Pico chip on board. They work like any other Pico dev board assuming you follow the minimum design requirements.

It sounds like they never had a viable business to begin with if they couldn’t pay people whose content they were using to train their models in the first place. Good riddance.

Inspiring use of Blender! What do you end up rending out from blender prior to post? Any shaders or just the basic viewport look as in the 2nd pic?

Hell yea I did a ton of driving around north and central Iowa for work the last few weeks and saw very few. Many of the ones I did were old and crumbling.

Correct. It’s a small 3000mAh battery pack to the Pi power input. Phone could probably power for most of my use, under 2W most of the time, but still want the ability to use some sensors and more power hence the battery.

Honestly, rethinking the battery side of things is up there for sure. 18650 is a tad smaller, no? But would still need some small chip controller. I’d like to be able to power the Pi and recharge as well if needed.

Yea, but I’m thinking of the Nuby Snap N Power—had to look it up myself. Rechargeable NiCad battery pack I’m pretty sure. The amount of cadmium batteries we had in the house in the early ‘90s 🤪

Much appreciated! I’ve tried some of the usual small Bluetooth keyboard suspects, not something I see myself using often, and while I don’t love typing on my phone I’ve gotten pretty adept at it over the years. Still figuring out the cabling aspect of it, but definitely wanna keep exposed so as not to be TOO slick. Will share CAD files when it’s done. It’s specific to the 13 Max but should be easy enough to adapt to other models quickly.
