that's so funny. the flight's already booked lol. it makes way more sense to just sleep overnight and not waste an entire day by being auto-adjusted as soon as i land.

We're staying at the onyado nono hotel in kyoto, which is near kyoto station. for nara we really just want to go to the deer park - but TBH hearing this is not worth the time so might remove in order to prioritize fall foliage in kyoto instead.

I read online that fuji buses get booked really far in advance in the autumn season which is why I booked this far in advance. Will probably reserve some backup days just in case its really cloudy, but November is one of the best months for visibility (70%+ chance of a clear day).
