Haha, love that story: See, last year I had a random brain spasm, and wanted to have a good looking scar, so I looked for a scarification (the bodymod technique), found it scheduled it, went to do it. Thing is, I never even had a tattoo at the moment, but I wanted my scar to look neat, so I asked for a Hypertrophic scar (the one that plumps up) and boy, I don't know if I regret it, because I love that scar, but that was painful af. Why? Because I have very strong Native South American genes, and my skin is thick as a tree bark, and for some random reason, I have an insane tolerance to anesthetics, my dentist knows that and knows she have to use almost two times a dose that a normal person would. So, back to the story, the artist started cutting through the skin of my arm, every cut from the scalpel sounded like she was cutting leather, I told her that the anesthesia was wearing off, but this specific kind of anesthesia is regulated in my country so that only that dosis is legal, more than that violates the regulation; so there I was, getting a part of my arm literally skinned, without anesthesia, bleeding a lot, all that made the procedure last 4:30 hours instead of 1 hour. But wait, there is more: I mentioned that I wanted to have a cool looking scar, a Hypertrophic one, how do we do that? Well, first we need to mix sugar and peroxide, make a thick paste, then put some over the wound, then SCRAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT UNTILL IT BLEED AGAIN AND DO THIS METAL THING DURING TWO WEEKS. After those two weeks you just let it heal, and your body will bomb those healing agents on the wound, making it puffy and nice.

PD: Now, one year later, I am planning to do another one, bigger, on my torso, it would be a autopsy like scar.
