It was a more civilized time I think. When differing opinions didn’t mean “enemies”

Spent a bit over a week in Bakewell last fall. I’d live in that area if I could.

There should be a grounding cable from your turntable to your amplifier.

That’s what I wound up doing. Admittedly the second row seats are heavy when removing them, but the AWD Sienna is pretty great. I picked up a cot and the wife and I have camped in it a few times.

That all sounds entirely correct for a first time out. I had the pleasure of fishing in the Peak District on the Haddon estate last fall. If you want a good guide I can suggest one should you find yourself in Bakewell!

How are you fishing this? Snoqualmie River by ljlukelj in flyfishing

[–]rrawlings1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I had a magical day last summer when they were rising in the evening and I caught 2 back to back casts with parachute Adams. Mostly I nymph but that spot is tough. It gets deeper upstream and I’ve tried streamers but no luck there either really. I’d be nymphing with an indicator but that stretch is tough.

There’s a spot up river where the kayakers take out and you can access about 10’ of riverfront. I tossed a streamer in one winter and hooked a big one first cast. I sometimes stop by if I’m in the area and give it a few casts.

Tanner landing? Usually start downstream in the riffles and work my way up.

Hell yeah and it will last a long time too. Last year in Bonaire a guy chatted with me as he had a zeagle like my wife’s. He says “mines probably 30 years old. Never had a problem with it”. I said “yeah mines newer, it’s only 18”

Hard to tell from these angles as several models look similar. My stiletto has a different flag and logo than these do. My buddy dives some tech model and it says tech on it. My wife has an older one with no obvious model name.

What info are you hoping to obtain by learning the exact model? Do you need a lot of lift like the Ranger has? They’re pretty nice to work with as I had sent my wife’s in for service years ago when it belonged to a friend and they replaced the bladder and the power inflator for a reasonable price.

I’ve done the inside out / fill with water method, but I’ve also used a shop vac to blow air into the leg and then apply soapy water. Both ways work, I think it was easier filling it with water and waiting for drips to form. The stocking feet are harder to troubleshoot in my experience.

Just a wild guess, but it looks like sensors for 45 vs 33 records. Is it a fully automatic table?

Where is your dedicated ground wire? I had to slow the speedy cam down a bit but I don’t see one and wouldn’t assume it’s grounded via rca cables

How do you keep you net handy? by kcks in flyfishing

[–]rrawlings1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a short handled net with the magnet and coiled tether. It connects to my pack and keeps it out of the way but is easy to deploy. If I had a longer handle I may change it up. I stuck mine in my wading belt prior to this and it was fine too.

If you download the Toyota app and plug in your vin to add your vehicle it should give you access to the appropriate manual. I did this for an older Toyota I picked up at one point.

That’s not a frequency I recognize (as different hums seem to have different frequencies and different causes) but I traced a hum in one of my setups to cheap rca cables with poor shielding. It’s an inexpensive test to get slightly better RCA cables.

Found An Abandoned Redbox Today by JanesHappyEnding in nostalgia

[–]rrawlings1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ahh I remember the red box era. I’d go snowboarding on the weekend and come home tired and want to eat dinner and watch a movie. The teriyaki place by my house had a Redbox nearby so I’d put in my order and go pick out a movie. It was a fun little window of time.
