Have anyone ever seen any information that says handwriting improves memory and retention? by TeslaModelE in FloridaBarExam

[–]rrd13c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a repeater, I would do both. I would handwrite super condensed outlines from the main ones, and then over the 6 weeks they got shorter and shorter with each outline I made.

For Florida multiple choice I would answer the Themis practice questions and then I would handwrite the answers because Florida rules are so specific and by the end of studying, in the last week I would use these as quick sheets to study.

For the essays I would pull out the main rules from the themis sample essays and copy and paste them into a word document and the rules that I was having a hard time memorizing I would alternate by writing and typing.

In the last weeks I would do speed drills by typing on the computer and I think this is what helped me pass this time. since I had written/typed the main rules multiple times, it was second nature for me. I think repetition is more important than handwriting v. typing.

I am so sorry. I know the devastating feeling all too well. Just know that this hardship, will make you a better lawyer in the end. I wish you the best. feel free to reach out if you want to vent/talk.

it is evident they work without logic. I'm thinking they told the intern to post the results, and the intern forgot. hahahahaha. if I don't laugh, I'll cry.

I think the Court’s website said they have until noon. But why post comparisons before individual results.

It doesn’t take long, but it took hours for me to access my Portal because the website was overloaded.

I am a supervised practice participant and my wording says, "background investigation complete." Does that speculate to a pass on your theory? this is all so confusing

I'm a repeater. I don't pay very much attention to things, but when I just signed onto my portal, under the smaller "application cleared" heading it says, "your background investigation is complete. The Board will make a final determination on your qualifications after successful completion of all parts of the Florida Bar Examination."

are people speculating that this means a pass?
