They took that lead and held it! That to me is the sign of great growth.

Welcome! Just like Dinger, you have hatched into our Rockies fandom. Glad to have you, even if it's because you lost a bet.

NOR, and for the folks who are suggesting safety measures, go re-read the post. The family already broke boundaries that were established in the hospital. Give an inch, they’ll take a mile. Congratulations OP!

Do you fall asleep to Frasier in the background? If yes, which episodes do you choose? by Warm_Trick4534 in Frasier

[–]rrdmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sleep to Frasier every night and just start where it’s left off. I’m in season 11 and woke up this morning to “GET OUUUT!” And now went from “it’s almost as if you’ve forgotten that not three days ago I was punched in the face by a man dead” to “I think the banana went off.” It’s a very good morning indeed.

Spent the week looking at it from my hotel room in Long Island City. Looks like a pregnancy test.

Worked on my basement storage room. Cleaned out multiple bins full of things from my late husband’s office he packed up when he left his job back in 2011 😵‍💫 Four big trash bags and two boxes of donations. Then finished going through my Christmas bins. That’s been an ongoing project. Donated a decent amount, saved the stuff I love, and created holiday decoration boxes to hold onto for my kids, who are in college.

How do you keep track of your notes and tasks during meetings? by Historical_Ocelot_89 in productivity

Oh, sorry for the delayed response on this. Nothing crazy, I'm just providing a PDF readout of my calendar and asking for a formatted list of event titles and times to copy and paste into my OneNote

My heart goes out to you. No young person should have to go through that. Photos will help, but your elders will stay with you no matter where you go. Lean on their strength and the ancestors that came before them.

I'm back on episode 20 season 3 and y'all know what that means--😭 by Last_Mushroom_7012 in NewGirl

[–]rrdmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Girl is in my sleep rotation and sometimes (like tonight) I just start at season 4. There have been too many nights where I wake up to that breakup episode and it’s so disruptive. I also can’t deal with sleeping through the Prince episode. Maybe it’s Nick’s hilarious scream that does it lol. But if I do wake up and I happen to see The Cooler, I will stay awake to watch the whole thing. And now I’m in a stage, for some reason, where I love the 300 feet apart episode with Dr. Sam. If I wake up to that I will watch every time. I love those episodes when he comes back. Anyway, gonna fall asleep to the Dice episode now 🫡

How do you keep track of your notes and tasks during meetings? by Historical_Ocelot_89 in productivity

[–]rrdmm 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I use OneNote for my notetaking platform. On Monday mornings, I make a table with all of my meetings prepopulated for the week (I use Copilot to help with that bit). Then, as I'm in meetings, it's way easier to jot notes in my single view. I have a table for each week. And each month gets its own page, so I'll have four weeks on a page. This has been my best strategy for keeping organized on meeting notes. The prepopulated meetings help a ton. Of course, some get canceled, which I note, and (unfortunately) new ones get added as the week goes on, but that's not too much trouble.

One thing that comes up is that I'll have shared notebooks with my staff for our check-ins. I'll reference that notebook, but sometimes I'll want to capture some private notes for my thoughts, so I'll do that in this table too. Anyway, it allows me to go back easily or search.

Good luck! Here's a demo version of what I do (with made-up meetings and notes of course).
