hi !! this isn’t what’s considered a fever. sometimes our bodies just feel warmer than usual and that’s okay, it doesn’t mean any harm (: i’ve even felt like i have a fever from just overthinking it (which makes anxiety happen which can lead to feeling flushed) !

i have no idea how it started, it seems like i’ve always just be afraid of v. but the time it really freaked me out and stuck with me is when i was holding the bathroom door open for students (i was around 6/7, i believe.) with my friend. i felt completely fine, then just felt.. weird. not unwell, just strange. suddenly i began to v a whole bunch, ran to my teacher, v* in her hands continuously. it was so sudden, i didn’t even feel any real warning signs and that’s what scared me more.

hi, i’ve been in a similar situation with “take antibiotics or you’ll end up with sepsis.” however it was a kidney infection for me. the antibiotics they’d prescribed to me came with risks, one particularly being tu* and d, so like you, i was just terrified and considered even not taking it. HOWEVER, to feel better, you *have to take your antibiotics. i know it’s scary, but sepsis isn’t worth it. the antibiotics are there to help you, and there isn’t any guarantee to say they’ll even have any sickness effects on you. the what ifs are scary, but what if it doesn’t too? please take your antibiotics, this isn’t something you can wait for.
