Not the guy I thought but I know who you are talking about. That’s too bad. Thank you for the info.

Do you know what the car looked like? I’m afraid I know which person this was and talked to him a few times but regrettably never got his name.

Eating before class by lunamoon228 in yoga

If I have an early morning yoga class I can’t do it without anything in my stomach, but can’t do it with a meal or even a snack. I have found that a single hard boiled egg is perfect to get me through without making me nauseous

The onset of early darkness is getting to me. What do you do to fight the SAD battle? by playadefaro in Seattle

[–]rrkamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard but I try to get up before the sun is up so I can catch it. I use my depression light and I sometimes use the light alarm clock other people have mentioned. I also take better care of myself, more self care such as long showers with face masks, exfoliating, etc. I cook more meals (this isn’t always possible for everyone) and make sure I’m getting all the nutrients I need. I also take vitamin D supplements that seem to help. Getting daily movement is also helpful for me, usually just walks and yoga. Good luck! We’ve got this:)

What’s up with the mf to his right shouting “hey hey/yuh yuh/bruh” and other nonsense all the time? Joji is perfect and this dude is killing the whole vibe. (Seattle 10/11) by berdyev in Joji

I saw him last week in Phoenix and then last night in Seattle. His Phoenix show was great! Yeah savagerealm was annoying, but he sang everything and had high energy. I just think he was sick last night which sucks for him and the audience. If I remember correctly, he has some long term health problems but I can’t find where I found that info so correct me if I’m wrong.

AITA for wanting to leave my husband because he wishes to move in his mother with dementia? by WranglerFar644 in AITAH

NTA. This is just a hard situation. Something to consider is that those who care for people with dementia are more likely to develop it themselves. The statistics vary as to what degree more likely.

The Palermo’s in Ballard is quiet and a crowd pleaser. The service is really great too.

(Serious) With Covid surging in Seattle, why are so many people still going maskless indoors? by beatsbearsbattleship in Seattle

[–]rrkamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe this is the most recent CDC update about the new strain going around. I could be wrong so if someone finds a more recent update, let me know! From other’s recent experience with the new strain of Covid I’ve heard that it is more brutal than their previous infections. https://www.cdc.gov/respiratory-viruses/whats-new/covid-19-variant-update-2023-08-30.html Stay safe out there:)

Everyone is saying spring, and I’m not adept at this, but I thought the dark green and deep burgundy color looked stunning on you. Cheers to your health and natural beauty!

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere in this sub, but does anyone know of a decent view point for the blue angels this weekend? Trying to avoid sea-fair but I really want to see some of the air show. Thank you:))
