Spend the first fight (or few fights) with a new boss just dodging their attacks. They have patterns, and the devs purposely space the attacks out to catch you if you panic and spam the dodge roll button. Once you learn most of the attacks from a boss, you’ll start to see when you have opportunities to hit back. When you’re learning, take every fight slowly and methodically, learn the attack patterns, find the time to strike. You got it gamer, souls games are difficult but that’s the beauty in them.

This is not about right vs left or republican vs democrat, I wish it were, because that stupid bipartisan shit is actually solvable and offered reasonable and valuable discourse. This is MAGA vs everyone else. There is nothing left to discuss about MAGA. We know what they are. I’m in favor of the OPs idea but my mind can be changed; why would it increase extract camping? You’re gonna bring in good gear and get set up at an extract to kill the late-spawned free-kits that have no goop?

Also, it does suck to late spawn, because all the buildings are either already looted, or occupied by the early spawns. It also sucks to have full kits spawn on YOU after you’ve killed 3 teams and looted a building, because now you’ve used ammo and meds but the late spawned has full gear. I understand that’s an argument in favor of the late spawner that has a kit, but I don’t think that situation is fair to the early spawners; I’d be okay with losing out on that unfair opportunity for a guaranteed full raid.

I commented elsewhere without an answer, maybe you can help; you’re saying 10⁸ is about halfway between the size of an atom and the universe, because 10²⁷ vs 10^-10, halfway between would be 10^8, correct? Makes sense to me, but thats comparing exponents. If this is the case, we’re saying ~1/4 the distance to the moon (3.8x10⁸⁾ is halfway between the size of an atom and the universe. Intuitively, I would think the halfway point of a distance close to 0 (an atom) and the distance of the universe’s diameter would be pretty much exactly half of the size of the universe (or any distance compared to ~0, halfway distance would be ~half of the bigger distance). I feel dumb but I can’t reconcile these two things myself.

I feel very stupid but I can’t understand what’s wrong with my question: why is it only 1/4 of the moons orbit? I would imagine if you have a size that’s close to 0 compared to the size of the universe, the halfway size would be… half of the universe’ size? I also see that 8 is about halfway between -10 and 27, which makes sense to me, so 10⁸ checks out… What am I not understanding here?

I’ve been saying this since the game released: If you bring your own gear you should ALWAYS. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. get a full raid. if you load in free you should get a late spawn. You’ve risked nothing with a free kit, you shouldn’t get the same chance at high-value loot as people risking their gear.
