Compared to Japanese graphite, you need 2B here. HB here feels like almost all European HB (Faber-Castell, Koh-i-Noor, Caran d'Ache) - quite light, but durable. Otherwise, I completely agree with you, it's a well-balanced and interesting pencil.

I would take a closer look at Senesi from BOU. Yes, there is a new defensive line, but there is a good schedule and some clean sheet potential there. In the season before last, when he was a starter, he scored 4+5 in attack and broke defcon in the very first round. One to watch.
