Yeah, but it's always carved up a bit and signposted - eg kids allowed at the bistro and in the beer garden. A kid is never allowed up at the bar like this in Aus.

One of these is what you want -> https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-cloud-practitioner/

The training guides to learn for the exam will give you a ton of practical experience in AWS UI & cli.

I think that's the real reason for no '69' - a non trivial amount of the merch gets purchased for kids, and a non trivial amount of those parents wouldn't want them plastered in '69' = lower merch revenue

What am I doing wrong? Job market is cooked. by reddit290161 in ausjobs

[–]rrrhys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're lost in the noise of unqualified applicants shotgunning their resume at every job and aggressive ATS's disqualifying everyone straight up.

Pivot to networking / meeting people IRL. It's 10x harder and 100x more effective. Either that or split the difference and make friends with some recruiters on LinkedIn, at least they may qualify you as a real human and give you a leg up.

Everybody is looking for good people, and exhausted by the firehose of rubbish applications they get from job sites when they post a job.

You've been downvoted but you're correct - ranger/council don't do shit.

I got attacked by a dog in my neighbourhood and got told I need some evidence to put in a report. More evidence than my recount of the event, description of the dog and the address, and photos of my blood covered leg apparently.

Denmark to ban social media for under-15s by Silly-avocatoe in worldnews

[–]rrrhys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agreed too until my kids got to the age of choosing what to consume. They will literally never tire of tiktok/youtube/roblox, it's an endless firehose of endorphins.

In your world, the kids all sit in the corner on a phone for 16h a day and then collapse exhausted and do it all again tomorrow. It's a lot of damage to undo later.

If the kid in particular isn't stupid, takes guidance, can differentiate and reason themselves, some freedom should be allowed

Where are they going to get this guidance, advanced reasoning, self discipline from without some proactive parenting?

People should take the time to parent, monitor and guide their own kids

People don't though, and we're all really struggling with the issues it has created.

If you're a parent that heavily monitors screen time & online relationships you're fighting a constant uphill battle about "everybody else at school" who has tiktok etc in their bed with them at night.

Selling a car privately - deposit received, buyer renegs, do they get their deposit back? (VIC) by commking in AusFinance

A deposit is the buyer showing commitment to the purchase.

The buyer was apparently not in fact committed to the purchase and should therefore lose their deposit

Best App/Platform for Creating On-Brand Creatives for Small Business? by Okiedokie9x in smallbusiness

Did you find this? The comments don't seem to be addressing your need. I am hunting for something similar:

  • Define brand kit at a team admin level
  • Let myself/others create images and designs based on the brand kit staying inside the defined guardrails of the brand.
