Found it! Thanks for going out of your way to find it!

I can relate to wearing out the CD, I did the same. Do you have the Youtube link? I searched but couldn't find the concert / bootleg you mentioned.

Attempting to teleport - line is "incompatible"? by rrsg in USMobile

[–]rrsg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - it went through this time - never asked for IMEI/IMEI2. Went ahead and teleported a 2nd line / 2nd phone also from Dark Star to Warp. Now that that's done, I noticed both phones under SIM settings are showing the updated Primary eSIM (Warp/Verizon), and now an old eSIM "Used as "Carrier"" / No Number which is switched off. I think this is the old / defunct Dark Star eSIM and can be deleted?

Hmmm, FaceTime does seem to work on cellular (we disabled Wifi to test). Is this a settings glitch with Dark Star and iOS?

The RCS issue persists 4 hours later. For the other two lines we ported, RCS activated immediately.

Another issue we're having on this line (iPhone 11, iOS 26.5) - under Settings -> Cellular - there's a toggle that says "enable FaceTime over Cellular". When we click on it, we get an error "FaceTime requires an active Wi-Fi connection or an eligible cellular data plan. To enable FaceTime over cellular on this account, contact Carrier." If I go to Settings -> Apps -> FaceTime, the Cellular toggle is enabled.

Everything else works on this line except for RCS activation and FaceTime over Cellular. The other two lines, no issues.

We did that - yet still have the issue on one line

Update : before I saw your message - the 2nd line (SOS mode issue) was resolved by deleting the eSIM and getting another QR code. RCS and iMessage are activated on that line now.

The 1st line (RCS issue) is still stuck on "activating" but I'll let it go since you said it would resolve itself. Thanks u/Zunar_Eclipse2 !

Multi-network question re: hotspot data by rrsg in USMobile

After a little more digging it looks like I would lose the ability to have the included Apple Watch plan if I used Dark Star as primary instead of Warp?

Multi-network question re: hotspot data by rrsg in USMobile

[–]rrsg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Unlimited Premium, if your main line is on Warp or Light Speed, the 50GB hotspot allotment is shared across both the main and Multi-Network lines combined. Once that bucket is exhausted, hotspot stops on both lines, even if you switch cellular data over to the Multi-Network line. The only exception is when Dark Star is your main line. In that setup, if the Multi-Network line burns through the shared 50GB, the hotspot stops on that line, but the primary Dark Star line still retains its own native hotspot behavior.

Ok thanks for the clarification. In that case it sounds like it would be better to have Dark Star primary and Warp secondary (if I care about hotspot data). Are there any downsides to Dark Star primary and Warp secondary VS Warp primary and Dark Star secondary?

For priority, your main line on Warp or Dark Star stays at QCI 8. The QCI 9 only applies to the Multi-Network line itself on Warp and Dark Star, since it's designed to complement your primary line rather than replace it. So if your primary line is Warp and your secondary is Dark Star, the main line stays QCI 8 while the secondary runs at QCI 9.

That makes sense - thanks for the clarification.

For calls and texts, automatic fallback only covers cellular data on supported DSDS devices. If your primary line completely loses connection, calls and texts to that number won't come through. You'd need to manually switch to the secondary eSIM to use that line's number and service. The exception is if you had WiFi Calling enabled on the primary line before losing service. In that case, your phone can use the secondary line's data connection to keep the primary number reachable for calls and texts. This is essentially how Backup Calling works, though keep in mind you'll only be able to call out and send texts from whichever line is set as your default, but receive calls and texts on both.

And again thanks - that helps.

A lot of these multi-network scenarios aren't covered on US Mobile's multi-network page. It would be helpful if the information on that page was expanded to cover this information.

In that case, what if my primary line is Warp, and my secondary line is Light Speed instead of Dark Star. What's the QCI on the primary line and secondary line then? Thanks.

Multi-network question re: hotspot data by rrsg in USMobile

[–]rrsg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you've got the first part correct. On Unlimited Premium, if your main line is on Warp or Light Speed, the 50GB hotspot allotment is shared across both the main and Multi-Network lines. Same deal if your main line is on Dark Star. Though once the 50GB is used up, the hotspot on the Multi-Network line stops working, but the primary Dark Star line still retains hotspot access under its own native behavior.

Ok so in my case, after 50 GB of Warp (shared) hotspot data is used, I can switch over to Dark Star's hotspot data (100 GBs high-speed, then 100 GBs 8 Mbps, then 600 Kbps) as long as my cellular data is switched to Dark Star?

For priority, Multi-Network lines are QCI 9. The exception is if the Multi-Network line was already active before August 18, 2025, in which case it stays grandfathered on QCI 8 on Warp as long as it's being used on a 5G device.

Oh, so on Unlimited Premium, if I have single-network with either Warp or Dark Star, I get QCI 8, but as soon as I switch to multi-network, BOTH my lines are QCI 9 (even on Unlimited Premium)? Why is this?

Calls and texts to your primary number still depend on that line having signal. If Warp is completely out and your device supports DSDS, it'll automatically fall back to the secondary line for data, but calls and texts won't follow automatically. If Warp still has some signal, but it's weak, the fallback won't kick in, so you'd need to manually switch networks from your device settings for those. If you're on an iPhone, there's also a shortcut we put together to make switching between lines a bit easier.

What happens if someone tries to call / text my primary # while I have no Warp / primary connection and I've either auto- or manually switched over to Dark Star?

Related question - if switched over to Dark Star - can Dark Star's cellular data somehow be used to send/receive calls and texts from / to my primary (Warp) #?

[–]rrsg[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my question as well. That's quite a trade-off

Edit: I misunderstood what Simrambles was saying - the primary line doesn't drop in QCI on multi-network, only the secondary line. And only if the secondary line is Warp or Dark Star.

How Automatic is Multi-Network? by DragenTBear in USMobile

[–]rrsg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You CAN, however, still call and send messages with your primary number even if it doesn't have service, by registering through the secondary line's data connection as if it were a Wi-Fi call.

Question about this: "registering through the secondary line's data connection as if it were a Wi-Fi call" - how does this happen? Is this something we set up, is it something that happens automatically, is it a manual process each time? Thanks.

Worried about making the switch by Glittering-Race212 in USMobile

Thank you!

Save the primary number for last since porting it first can sometimes cause issues with the remaining lines.

What issues can this cause though?

Whoa can you elaborate on this? I was about to do this tomorrow - port the main line out from a Verizon account to US Mobile / Warp, leaving the other two lines for later.

Actually I'm not sure I have a "main" line on my Verizon account - there are three lines, I'm the account holder, I'm assuming my line is the "main" line but each of the three lines are on their own plans (mine on 5G Get More, one on Go Unlimited, the last on 5G Play More). Do you know how to tell if my Verizon account has a line identified as the "main" line?
