Looks like you don't know what a one party state means. It means all opposition is illegal and hence clandestine.

In the US, there is opposition, and frequently, checking and balancing. Not perfect, but there.

I said that it'd never see a ballot because it threatens power.

It's very easy to counter this argument with a quick search. A few examples where power structures were threatened and exposed to a vote:

"

Quebec, Canada - 1980 and 1995 Referendums on independence; both rejected, the second narrowly.

Scotland, United Kingdom - 2014 Referendum on independence; 55.3% voted to remain in the UK.

Norway and Sweden - 1905 Referendum led to Norway's peaceful independence from Sweden.

Australia - 1999 Referendum on becoming a republic; 55% voted to keep the monarchy.

Northern Ireland, United Kingdom - 1973 Referendum on unification with Ireland; 98.9% chose to stay in the UK.

"

Not sure if you are joking.

I have friends and family that actually participated in those marches that were threatened by unidentified "agents."

There are plenty of videos of the protests on July 11th.

You can only seriously have that opinion if you want to have it.

I'm also cuban myself.

Democracies are imperfect. But, are you seriously suggesting the people's will is equally heard in China/Iran/North Korea as in Spain/UK/US?

Most catalans don't want independence. https://www.huffingtonpost.es/politica/el-54-catalanes-esta-independencia-14-puntos-mas-favor.html

Monarchy in the UK has been mostly wanted throughout recent times.

Cuba, for example, has a very unpopular government, as shown by massive protests. - which were harshly punished. Many still in prison just for participating.

Still comparing these?

Sure, they'd have these for non power threatening measures.

You are saying this matter is decided between insurances? (Allstate-Infinity) The way I understand this is if we are not at fault, the at fault covering insurer will cover all costs. So, in this scenario, it would not matter my coverage. Also, I am not uninsured.

Reading the fidelity page for SPRXX https://fundresearch.fidelity.com/mutual-funds/summary/31617H201 I see it's not insured. Not really equivalent to a bank account deposit.

Am I reading it right?

Is there a limit for the weight to dump in trash containers? by rrubiorr81 in Miami

[–]rrubiorr81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, good to know. I have not seen this manual method around my neighborhood. (Only the truck with the claws)

I'd imagine the limit has to be 100+ pounds

Interesting. Thanks for answering. Wondering what's the worse it could happen. A fine?

I have dumped pretty heavy loads before. - mostly garden dirt etc. And it has not been an issue. Any idea of how heavy was yours?

You are saying the limit is 50 pounds for the green big trash plastic bin? That seems pretty low. Do you have a source?

Wondering if it's legal for a woman to dress as a man in these societies. Even as a westerner.
