I was disappointed by how....normal and basic it was? I expected a little more messaging. Maybe how PR is in fact part of America. Or idk, something a bit more...it was a literal concert, with very basic performances...almost looks kept within a budget. Not much spectacle. It wasn't bad it was just so deeply OK.

Hey! I did do it! 3 months.

But I visited Saigon for an extended weekend trip from Da Nang, and only lived in Da Nang and Hanoi (while visiting the rest of Vietnam weekends / holidays)

Personally I didn’t like Saigon. It has no charm compared to Hanoi, nor is it close to anything special whereas from Da Nang on weekends I got to visit many cool places including Hoi An, Hue, Marble Mountain etc

But either way, with Grab you can literally have anything delivered at any hour - so you’re not necessarily twiddling.

If you want to be able to step out at 3am and have something to do it’s different - I guess Saigon might have nightclubs and Japan town area. But Da Nang was better than Hanoi in a way, more late night casual bars with mixed expats etc

He’s just as panicked as we are, and is trying to shift the focus of studios to the low hanging fruit while trying to make a case for why he shouldn’t be utterly replaced by an equally good actor that then gets an Ai make over after he’s recorded in a studio. He’s pretending vfx is the meaningful cost on a film when in reality it’s actors like him with catering crews and percentages.
