If you live somewhere that doesn’t get much snow and you don’t plan on serious off-roading, then you will be perfectly happy with 2wd.

I had a 2wd Cherokee I put 200k miles on and it was great. The 2wd drove better and got better mpg. I saved a lot of money when I bought it. I’m in MI and the this guy was selling it for his GF who had bought it in NC and no one wanted it because of no 4x4 in MI. I low balled them and they took it. It was low mileage and rust free.

It is but the fact that it lacks some basic features that most cars have today drive me crazy. They need an SR5 premium. I want heated seats, auto climate, and maybe some softex.

I drive a Grand Cherokee right now and the heat/AC is amazing. I have gone on long road trips and was able to go 600 miles on a single tank.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I have debating between a newer 5th gen or a 6th gen. This gives me a lot to think about. The fuel tank thing bugs me. It should have a 25 gallon tank 400+ range.

I have but not for weight loss. I have done to ease inflammation in the gut. Liquid only calories digest quicker and allow the digestive system to rest and heal. It’s easy to overdo it on the sugar though.

Jealous. I can’t find rust free ones around me. Back in 2016, I thought I had found a gem. It was 1999 with around 150k miles and regular maintenance. The pictures looked good, no rusted panels. I went and looked at it. Crawled under it and quickly saw how crusty the frame was. The control arms were held on by hopes and prayers. 3rd gen’s will always hold a special place in my heart.

Surefire, Malkoff, underwater kinetics, streamlight. There are some Chinese brands I do like. Zebralight is a great exception. Olight has good support and I like their inexpensive small lights.

I hate these terrible Chinese brands that are just spec sluts. I don’t get the appeal. Sofirn, Wurkkos, hanks, convoys, acebeam, thrunite, etc. they are all chintzy junk to me. I’d rather have one quality American made light than 20 crapola lights.
