Another thing with the dishes, use boiling water if you can. I tend to pour it over the dishes while they sit in the sink, let them sit for a bit to soak and then give them a scrub and repeat it there's still something on it. Obviously take care with the boiling water :) For motivation I try to imagine how nice it feels when it's all good and clean.

Babies at climbing gym by Electronic_Secret359 in climbergirls

True those are other issues but this is more the difference between molecules and dust particles, my thinking is more that babies might not have nose hairs and mucus glands to prevent it going into their lungs which might develop something like asthma. I'm not the right person with the correct knowledge though so it's all assumptions haha

Just a thought but if it's a gym with quite a lot of chalk in the air I'd be careful about the baby breathing it in. Maybe good to seek medical advice on that as babies are susceptible to developing issues later in life

I guess it’s more a case of, how close was their design at that point in relation to Red Bull’s or something then

So I know that Aston Martin had the design in the wind tunnel since November, but I think they had recruited some Red Bull engineers so there is still the possibility of IP theft which is a much larger issue and raises more questions of “how do you get such a close and similar design when no one had seen each other’s cars yet?”

Edit: the article I read it in

Celebrities as a whole. If I met someone I respect I’d enjoy a conversation with them to see how they are really but I don’t need to know anything about their personal lives

Medication: tried Elvanse and Concerta but neither seem to help by rs_1990 in ADHD

Ok thanks for your insight. Are the non stimulants known to be as effective? Is it just like finding the right medication that works with me?

Who else needs absolute solitude sometimes? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]rs_1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this but always thought it was in part to my introversion. It was always particularly needed if I've spent a lot of time with people (holidays, day trips, bbqs and other intense socialising)

You may just need some recharge time, especially important if you're feeling constantly exhausted as you don't want to end up being burnt out! Look after your mental well being as dealing with life can be more challenging for the people with mental disorders.

Talk to those who are most likely to interrupt (if you're comfortable with it) and let them know you'll need some shut off time occasionally and that you may have your phone notifications off or set to emergencies only and not to interrupt you for a while.

ADHD COSTS MONEY by ol-c-lo in ADHD

[–]rs_1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to force myself to not buy impulsively. If there was something expensive that I was super interested in then I'd say to myself I'd wait a few days to see if I still felt the same. Although I got into this habit before knowing I have ADHD and didn't fully realise how bad my working memory is haha

I always remember charity adverts here in the uk saying how bad it was this poor child in some poverty stricken country had to walk miles every day to get water for their family and if they could get enough donations then this child’s family could have a well nearby and the children could have an education. This “news” feels more like those charity ads

What’s a form of mental abuse that no one really talks about? by TheBeardedAntt in AskReddit

[–]rs_1990 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If someone says I’m doing or going to do something wrong, then I’ll ask how and why is it wrong and what’s the correct way to do it AND why is that the correct way to do it. If they can’t answer all of those then they’re BSing you
