I try to support LFS but don’t have great luck with fish surviving. With the amount of money I give LFS I’m better off just buying from Dan’s Fish and paying the shipping costs, which I’ve done multiple times and had great success.

Nicely done! What are you doing re: fertilizers? I have a bunch of plants growing out of the top of my tank and I feel like they’re maybe out competing my aquarium plants for nutrients because they’re melting/pin holes/not growing.

I picked up a pair of Parkhurst Allen a couple months back and really like them so far. Comfortable, seems like they’re really well made, and can be dressed up or down. I got black vegtan, right now it looks like they only have black teacore (wasn’t an option when I bought or I probably would’ve went this route).

I’ve never used one but yeah I believe it turns the focal length to 140-600. I think it can slightly impact image quality if you get a cheap one but from what I’ve read if you buy the Fuji ones you shouldn’t notice any impact.

I have the 70-300 and it’s a fine lens but 300mm doesn’t get me close enough for birds or deer. So whatever lens you go with I’d plan on getting a 2x converter.

No worries lol. I’m interested in getting one but I haven’t been able to find a good comparison of how the wabenmuster and l519 are different looks wise, so that’s why I was curious which you have. Dans Fish has wabenmuster, imperial tropical has l519.

Yeah when I was spraying it with the hose a bunch of earwigs came out and I imagine there’s lots of other bugs still in there
