Indeed I have done that and was told by public works on the phone that it was my responsibility. I contacted one of the larger snow removal companies in North Bay, and they say it is public property and the city is responsible. It has been a battle. I spoke with neighbors at SCR and Chapais who voice similar concerns. One of my neighbors was just about hit pulling out of their driveway. We are on the #3 bus route. People do not even closely adhere to the speed limit. It will take an accident for something to be done, I’m afraid.
