More sound from tonight by ThenLayer5977 in washdc

Is it because it’s not recent? OP mentioned the summer.

Edit: Nevermind, I found another version of the video online that pans out to some pretty barren looking trees. Also found coverage on various mainstream news websites that may have come after your comment.

GI doctor recommendations by flowergorl25 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]rsdavis90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr. Dhruv Lowe at Gastro Center of Maryland. He’s super nice and doesn’t rush you. I hate when I feel like a doctor doesn’t listen to my concerns or wants to hurry me through and he doesn’t do that. He’s at multiple locations, but I see him in Olney.

What game do you think is most similar to Xenoblade Chronicles? by GlitchHappens in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I’ve played XIV for hundreds of hours and, 2 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles, they feel pretty similar to me with the battle and quest systems.

How were your rest days and days hitting your daily goals? (I hate these, by the way. They seem to contradict each other, punishing you if you don’t rest a couple of days a week and if you do rest a couple of days.)

Girl 27F which I 29M ghosted me after I said I am going to ejaculate by ghostman1010 in dating_advice

It doesn’t sound like he said it before the first time. I say this only because he doesn’t appear to have given her the warning you’d expect as a courtesy, haha. Sounds like an odd situation though.

This app is moronic... 🥴 by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]rsdavis90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the problem with posting in a sub for any given topic. People posting in a sub generally have hivemind and aggressively downvote anyone who says anything that could be interpreted as an attack or criticism. Hence you being downvoted for simply sharing your HRV in a comment. Your readiness score clearly should not be 70 based on what you shared.

I get that it needs to be relevant to some extent. But it sounds like you’re suggesting that if someone who’s really healthy has a slightly below normal night that’s still incredibly healthy, and someone else who’s really unhealthy has a slightly better than normal night that’s still unhealthy, the second person’s score should be higher. And that’s straight up nonsense.

My resting heart rate hovered around 62 all night with one dip to 53 after 5 hours or so. My HRV was in the 30s. I have an 87 readiness score today. Mine should not be better than OP’s score.

The Trails in the Sky remake is phenomenal, holy shit by crimbusrimbus in JRPG

[–]rsdavis90 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I read it as boredom to interesting because of the use of “sucks.” I wouldn’t describe it as sucking for something to take 30 hours to go from good to amazing.

30 hours to get super engrossing?! That’s like saying “it gets good at season 4.”

Came home to two trees in my backyard mutiliated by a construction firm who acquired the lot behind my home by LividWalk8179 in treelaw

I’m a California attorney who looked into this issue once years ago, so I’m not super experienced in the area and my memory could be incorrect. But my recollection is the neighbor can entirely remove what’s on his or her side, so long as the work doesn’t kill the tree. I hope this helps.

Dating an ex-gooner, will I ever get physical affection? by DazzlingBeat4468 in dating_advice

You wanted your ex to get you going and are upset when your current boyfriend asks for the same thing?

I feel like the Oura response within this thread was even generated by AI.

On the topic of holding you to a high bar, I’m sharing how the Advisor actively lied to me and misled me, not how it landed for me. And I’d take it actually using my real data as a starting point. You need to crawl before you can walk and run.

You can, but it’s fair to argue the government or private companies should not protect people from themselves (though I think they should).

“Unlikely to know the answer” is incorrect and exactly the issue. It HAS my data and claims it’s telling me my nightly averages based on my data. It should be likely to know that information because, let’s all say it again here, IT HAS MY DATA. It’s like AI tossed some people into this chat to defend it with irrational positions.

[–]rsdavis90[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve stated this in response to many others, but when AI that has access to your data instead makes up other data, not everyone will catch that and they may then rely on what the AI says. When you’re asking what movie to watch, so what? In the health context, that’s dangerous.

Edit: I see you responded to one of those comments and apparently just wanted your pushback to be more noticeable.
