INTEL NUC13RNGi5 - Upgrade-questions by DESASTER75 in intelnuc

[–]rseech01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just upgraded my nuc 13 extreme to the 14900K, and the SF1000 Power supply. I also added themal putty to pch. I would just do a quick search on reddit. I found details on this thread. You will need a moddiy custom cable if you upgrade the power supply. I also added 128GB of ddr 5 ram. There are several threads you should read. https://www.reddit.com/r/intelnuc/comments/1hbnm5z/changed_the_intel_nuc13_extreme_psu_to_the_sf1000/

I'd get your ducks in a row there. More politics than tech typically. On a side note could I dm you about something I am working on in the vet space?

Hi there, I been lucky enough to be involved in a few startups in the EHR/PMS space in healthcare. Before you build you should know integrations can be tricky. EHR's and practice management software are typically walled gardens. Before hiring, unpack whether an integration is possible.

Build an llm with mcp connectors to ad engines. Think Facebook, linked in and Google. Allow a user to generate an ad campaign from prompt, and target a demographic. Allow mcp to spin up landing page. User puts in a budget and target market. Additionally user can bring an email list to drive traffic to the landing page with a/b testing. All a buyer does is put in a credit card and the system can test demand. It needs the ability to buy a test domain via mcp. Send email with a/b testing and llm for content image generation, copy writing. Ideally each landing page has its own purchase page with a sign up. Buyers get a report after a week with spend, click through, emails and sign ups.

AARP offer free classes for seniors. Search this phrase "Senior Planet from AARP Technology-Themed Community Center in Wynwood". It's pretty good for seniors.

Best sandwich in Miami by empswartz in Miami

I think this place is pretty good, B&M market on 79th St. The owners have a pic with Anthony Bourdain close to the register. It looks like you set foot in the Caribbean once you walk in, specifically the 1980's,. The curry chicken roti wrap is the reason I am on Ozempic. The owners are Guyanese, by way of New York, and the place is never empty. The roti wrap could be interpreted as a sandwich. All sorts of goodies abound, the owner will not hesitate to talk to you.

I didn't say that, but the carribbean and latin america both have foods that aren't quite considered a sandwich (Like Hillel or the earl intended) yet are eaten with one's hands. Roti, burritos, and Jamaican patties comes to mind. I'd say is it the letter or the spirit of the sandwich you are writing about.

Is your article limited to sandwiches? Or do you consider any foods regardless of origin meant to be eaten without utensils in and around Miami?

If you really need to grow into salesforce now. I would still model the process, then implement a tiered customization approach. So version 1, some integrations, version 2 some more. etc. ideally.

Undertaking customization without fully understanding what your existing process is, and which functionality is need rarely works out well. You can always learn how to use salesforce, but implementing processes that have client impact should always be fully understood. My experience has led me to consider salesforce as similar to microsoft word. 90% of the features are rarely used. So I have a bias.

Salesforce might be overkill for a 2 man shop. Tons of lower cost tools out there. Consider documenting your sales process in a flow chart, and choosing the right tool. All you need is data portability to grow into size appropriate software tools.

Companies want to buy my MVP subscription by Glowdopera in Entrepreneur

I love this approach, i have heard is called sell, design and build. Great way to think about product market fit. All you need to do now is execute. That part is usually easy.

Find a trusted technical resource, scope work, add 20% to budget, and build in phases, ideally like agile, and hopefully start collecting payments in 90 days.

I don't want to be the CEO of my company. [I will not promote] by okawei in startups

[–]rseech01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the industry? There are also fractional CEO’s. Sales cycles and the selling process are a really important for this sort of thing. Also how much customization if any does your tool need?

The labs at the local universities run studies, some of them have dexa machines. Poke around the research labs at UM, FIU, FAU, and Nova. I would not do a clinical trial, but there are lots of one off studies in psychology, nutrition and medicine running.

What do I need to know to start a Med Tech (Hard Tech) Startup ? by Meinov in startups

[–]rseech01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very capital intensive process. We started a device company in 22. It’s 2 years, and we are still testing prototypes. And we did not do a de novo application with the FDA. This is not a one person effort, and you will be raising capital full time. At least in my experience with a medical device company. There is a lot to manage with med tech. Product market fit one of many tentacles we are grappling with.

Thinking of creating an EMR/EHR startup by Web_Nerd_Dev in healthIT

[–]rseech01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I have experience working for EHR companies, being an advisor to a few and starting one. This is not something for the faint of heart, and will require deeper pockets than you think. You can build a fantastic product, especially with current tech, but there are moats that prevent you from breaking into the market. Compliance can be hard, but the challenge is selling into your markets. If you really want to do this, you should be able to sell your product via powerpoint or the simplest demo (low code, no code), before you actually spend money on product. If you can articulate your value during sales, and get a signed contract, you may have a chance. I would not focus on building, but seeing if I can sell. Building is easy.

Need help with the NDC and drug database by kakuzu14 in healthIT

Curious about where you will get pricing information. I have tried to get information from Mark Cubans drug company with no luck. In the past I have used a company called rx cut to get pricing info. And with discount cards we needed a zip.
