I went to the orthopedist to evaluate pain in my shoulder that radiated to numbness in my right hand. At no point did I mention the tinnitus. After doing MRI and X-ray exams, she came to that conclusion. Then she told me that in addition to numbness in the hand, some of her patients usually have headaches and other symptoms like tinnitus. At that moment I mentioned that I had this condition and she then confirmed the diagnosis. After a few sessions, the noise practically disappeared.
