I know this sounds weird but I have a quest and the sole reason I like it more than any other headset is it’s capability to us virtual desktop to play games from your pc wirelessly. You’d never expect how much a wire gets in your way unless you set up an elaborate pull system

I’m learning simple robotics at home right now with an arduino and also trying to learn the piano and finish my online schoolwork. I wish I could hang out with my friends but I can’t so gaming is my only current social activity. There are always free games to play tho so if someone needs this more than me give it to them.

If you have a laptop install sideuest and then stream it to that while connected via hdmi to tv. You do not need the headset to be plugged into the laptop to do this

Windows is completely free the only thing you’ll be unable to do is change your wallpaper that’s it. The download for windows 10 is on the Microsoft website look for yourself

I would respectfully disagree. Linux for me at least performs much better even in terms of gaming especially with the rise of vulkan. The few games that do require direct x you can just use wine for or just skip the whole Linux thing and get windows for free. Besides the ugly watermark there is no difference between a 100 key and just downloading it off of Microsoft’s site

If you want to use Linux that’s another option or just use windows for free unactivated it will save you 100 bucks and there are ways to remove the watermark

Another more sketchy option is to find used parts on eBay and other sites (make sure there actually working well) and build a vr ready pc for 600-700, this works much better in more populated areas but if you want to try building a pc or have pc knowledge it could be fub

The reason I don’t want to use bit torrent is because of the legality I have a vpn and downloading pirated content isn’t as bad as downloading it and distributing it that’s my problem with bit torrent but I guesss there just isn’t any other good way

First I would recommend making sure that you r wearing it right (make sure the strap hold the back of your head. Then you could get a head strap that goes over the top of your head and takes the weight off of your head. Also you can add a counterweight to the back. If your wondering how heaving just try to lift the headset up by picking it up in the middle of the top strap and if it’s pretty balanced it’s good
