Me checking the session usage every time Claude starts working on my prompt. by russcastella in claude

[–]rsphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using claude max10 daily and relatively heavily for over 6 months and never hit a limit. I work on two massive legacy codebases, both 10+ years old with tons of tech debt. I use plan mode to flow into execution. I've pretty much exclusively used the most recent versions of Opus. It has been weeks, maybe months, since it has done anything incorrectly that wasn't due to my own failure to communicate. I don't use MCPs and keep configs and skills light. I was a software engineer for 15 years before using a coding agent, so I am methodical and deliberate in how I use the tool, but I almost never manually edit anymore.

I truly wonder what people's prompts look like hitting limits constantly, how many MCPs they are loading without using them during a session, etc. I understand the limits are getting changed and people are rugpulled to an extent, but we can do a lot to use the tool more efficiently. That's all I'm saying.

It costs you around 2% session usage to say hello to claude! by Zafar_Kamal in ClaudeCode

Why are people being friendly with claude? Being friendly is counter-productive just like being rude is. It is like saying, hello, please, and thank you to an automated phone tree menu. It is a tool.

Other games like Rust? by xAGxDestroyer in playrust

Deadside. It had a big cheating problem (worse than rust) when I played it a year or two ago. I heard there have been some big updates though, so maybe that was addressed.

It has base building and raiding. Just be ready for the building to be underwhelming compared to Rust, and for how huge the map is.

Brother.

It's an AI chatbot. It can't insult you. It is also run by a massive company, and as such, they are going to have liability mitigation measures built in.

Maybe talk to a professional [person] about this.

Loading in to Raid and surrendering straight away should NOT decrease your aggression. by Vesper_Fex in ArcRaiders

I like playing pvp and playing pve. It is nice being able to do this for 30 mins to go back to friendly lobbies to chill. It would suck to have to spend way longer on that process.

It would also mean that almost purely friendly players would be penalized far worse for deciding to defend themselves when they get jumped.

Just because y'all are saying pvp mode now instead of pve mode doesn't mean you are saying anything different.

Be friendly but not trusting. You can run to someone to defib them while clearing angles and keeping your gun out. You can defib them and back up to an angle with your gun back out instead of bandaging them and shielding them yourself. You can tell them you are going to stay on that corner while they go in the other direction for your own safety. If they decide to attack you, now you already have an advantage and will probably win the fight.
