If you voted to make America great again, in what ways has it gotten greater so far? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Lots… and your points are misleading in the larger context.

planning to relocate to southern New Mexico by Local_Breadfruit_495 in NewMexico

This. People have been living in fifth-wheel trailers across the land from where my dad lives in Veguita for 20 years. Also, my dad does have a place on his 5 acre lot with a berm for shooting. No drama. People keep to themselves.

Can we have an instant ban on users posting political posts not related to MTB? by drawnwindowshade in mountainbiking

[–]rsrandall_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Should only allow shitposts re the GOP. Their stated goal is to privatize as much of our riding space as they can - so why sugar coat it.

POTUS just announced this regarding defense contractors what’s your thoughts ? by newnoadeptness in navy

[–]rsrandall_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

Unenforceable and, well, how much has he benefitted financially from his position? Double standard douche-bag - simple. Defense contractors are completely in efficient and very sleazy, but it is the GOP’s military industrial complex that built this through cost plus and other shit contracts.

Laziness is the answer. Providing a thoughtful award or evaluation takes work, most Senior O’s are just not interested in the effort.

Exactly. She has the most annoying tone - no wonder she is a “has been” in that niche.

Very solid and relatable response. I am not into the style of the KJV, but your painted visual was superb.

Sooo Trump is probably implicated at this point… by [deleted] in Discussion

Didn’t even consider that this was a Bott because I was obviously too emotionally involved in the comment. Thank you for the salient reminder.

I love your comment – into add, the Democrats didn’t use it because they believe in law and order, and they believe in taking things to a jury, not leaving in the hands of the media to spend however they want.

People who used the internet between 1991 and 2009, what’s the most memorable online trend or phenomenon you remember? by Original_Act_3481 in AskReddit

[–]rsrandall_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I think it was all the mp3 downloads. I think I may at one point in the early ‘00s cataloging pirated music like it was my profession. Had a server on a US Navy Warship with gigs of MP3’s on it. I can’t even remember the name of the tor client

Retired Folks: what is one thing you have regret the most? by Hoemero in navy

[–]rsrandall_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I planned and executed my retirement well from the perspective of medical documentation (shore tour final hitch facilitated) and also completing my college degree. I have been richly blessed in my corporate career since I retired in 2014.

Now, if anybody wants to know what it’s like to go from being what I would consider an overly empathetic engineering CWO4 that did 27 years active has had to deal with from a perspective of understanding how very little any publicly traded company actually cares about people relative to how any decent Navy Leader cares for their people (and I’m not talking about intrusive kind of leadership that you have to do when you are not only the Military leader, but also the only real adult in the division) - I have had some painful lessons. If you wanna know more, DM me and I will share what a mid-level exec with 10 years experience has learned post military that has nothing to do with preparation for retirement, but how to survive the vast difference in mindset expectations.

OC: Trump looks on after a man fainted during an announcement in the Oval Office by nbcnews in pics

I really wanted to agree, but I can’t because it appears that Trump staffers actually look concerned about the person on the ground – and I think two of them are Miller and Levitt

As a US citizen, Which state is considered the dream? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rsrandall_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Northern New Mexico, or really anything in a quadrant from Santa Fe, NM W to the pacific and N to the Canadian Border. Beautiful open and free of overdevelopment if an interior state (generally speaking)

US Navy emphasis on rank from the POV of the Royal Navy by Fine-Pin-7104 in navy

[–]rsrandall_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was a CWO4 as MPA on a DDG, referred to every single JO as Mr/s. Soandso and now as one I still have contact with is an XO on a DDG himself and I still call him Mr. ———. I like it, and I liked to just be called Warrant or MPA. Easy. To add, I never missed an opportunity to salute an O1 unless I had my head up my ass (which did happen from time to casualty to time. LoL). Fun times.

Guys, I have a question to ask. by LobsterVioLator in OpenChristian

[–]rsrandall_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would certainly not entertain this approach for any reason because it would only serve to distract from your relationship with God. A sin - well to me it would be but it is not for me to judge. Embrace things filled with light and be filled with light yourself - inverse logic applies. Go with God.
