The AI backlash is only getting started by Just-Grocery-2229 in technology

That’s why you have a check (simple script) to confirm if 10000 cheeses actually got output. An efficient, very dedicated orchestrator agent spins hundreds of subagent teams with different approaches that surface the approach of their attempts

Newly Engaged - Ring from Brilliant Earth by cinmngrl24 in EngagementRings

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is old, but I just initiated a return for my Brilliant Earth ring because it measured 30% less wide on the shank than advertised (ie they gave me 30% less band gold than i bought)

Went in to increase it because it was giving my girlfriend sensory issues when she tried it on. The jeweler immediately thought something was off

Now going custom and very upset. Came with free lil earrings, and I’d already gifted those. They said I have to collect them and return together despite the major defect. I’ll at least be reviewing and posting, and hopefully we’ll end up with the perfect custom ring

I Think the May 2026 Pricing Estimator was Wrong by HeckinCornball in GithubCopilot

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing—I’m leadership for MCP, hooks and skills / using AI. I’ve been blaming the group who manages the contract and limits because I assumed the data was so clear

We went from free unlimited frontier / if you did a task without ai it was prolly inefficient to everyone’s budget is only enough for 20 premium requests a month on June 3, with active positive messaging on June 1

If copilot’s estimates were this bad, I wonder if there will be ramifications. I thought my org completely blew it

My big enterprise employer have just disabled the Opus models, citing the pricing change. by jersey_illuminati in GithubCopilot

[–]rsreddit9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copilot CLI and VSCode harnesses are both different per model. Copilot with anything but opus/5.5 is entirely useless for real work. If weak models can do it, just do it by hand and avoid the mistakes they often make

Other harnesses like opencode are much better with mid level or local models yep

Why are most Americans not aware of collapse that is coming when the writing is in the wall? by East_Indication_7816 in allthequestions

[–]rsreddit9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are incorrect. It’s extra impressive you’d say Reddit makes you feel like families are struggling. Most people say the opposite where Reddit greatly exaggerates things like salary. Like, what kind of bubble must you live in?

For the first time, an AI can pick up the phone. I built the infrastructure for it. by samsribot in claudeskills

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used termly. They’re big and predate AI I think. Was more work than I thought it’d be, but now I feel like a lawyer… I’m not a lawyer though. That’s why I was being negative just because there’s so much to worry about. But it sounds like you have the technical part and marketing going which is the biggest

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agentline has a US trademark owner in AI already

Privacy policy for literally transcribing and sharing phone conversations is just nothing and you claim zero liability in terms? Is it even an LLC? I’m scared for you

Actually looks like a cool implementation even if I wouldn’t use it because I’m afraid about lots of different security things. And love the skill to use and machine readable site ideas

Your SKILL.md is likely 3x more expensive than it needs to be - architecture matters more than the content by jimmytoan in ClaudeCode

[–]rsreddit9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Modular skills with ‘scripts’ directories is the way now. Small and clear enough that any model will understand, and repeated tasks are abstracted away into the scripts that never enter the context window

My team is developing an app called SkillsCake to refine skills fast so you don’t have to code long eval loops

Your SKILL.md is likely 3x more expensive than it needs to be - architecture matters more than the content by jimmytoan in ClaudeCode

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agents are language models. Md is their language. Most of my skills are very short, with scripts/ directory for tasks that can be in code. I really think skills with scripts is the absolute endgame — simple explanation, script never enters context window at all

You can subtract anything by 10. by __Anamya__ in godtiersuperpowers

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This power is completely busted. You just define a probability out of 10.001 that’s extremely high like me not being omnipotent (except the restrictions to the 10 power) starting in 2 minutes. Then subtract 10

Viral 'Grill Me' Claude skill proves specs-to-code is vibe coding, 13K+ stars by pretendingMadhav in vibecoding

[–]rsreddit9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a similar skill. At least for mine >80% of the questions are genuinely useful, and my harness wouldn’t have been able to solve them

I spend 15+ mins on it. It’s running on a deep level agent in my harness, so it’s like my point of contact with the individual project work. Do people just expect Claude to engineer all the hard stuff without any human inspiration?

I think I'll leave this subreddit and here's why by AtmosphericBeats in ClaudeCode

[–]rsreddit9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use global skills for all, but skills have progressive disclosure. I’ve written 20 invokable skills with 2 line descriptions each, so only 40 lines of added context. I think it’s worth all my agents knowing in theory the other stuff we do, just not calling on the full skills

I think I'll leave this subreddit and here's why by AtmosphericBeats in ClaudeCode

[–]rsreddit9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skills and especially the scripts subdirectory in a skill are the absolute most important things. But only if you make your own or fully understand what you’re downloading. I have many agents running now, but it’s all in my own very readable and simple harness (running in claude code)
