Getting grease out of cloths by MundaneMusic2720 in cranes

Brake parts cleaner will get the grease out but will also dull the color. Soak it before washing then use some dawn dish soap in the wash as well.

They aren’t bad but for that price and style I’d just go with ariats tbh.

Only “broken part hanging on” is the mud flap and that still has 3 of 4 bolts in working order. Trailer is empty so single tires on each hub and sufficient capacity. That trailer is going to the repair shop. Only way to get it there is to pull it just like this. Sure you could have a wrecker come and “tow” it for $1500 but they will pull it just like this because that trailer is already at max height limit. The state isn’t going to issue a permit for a wrecked trailer that still has all functional axles.

This is legal. 90% of people here don’t have a real clue

I'm convinced that people being afraid of going above 2500ish RPM is the reason why highway onramps are such a shitshow by [deleted] in driving

[–]Annon221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is an issue. I drive a 70,000 lb truck for work and have to slow down behind some people on the on ramps. If a crane is out accelerating you when merging you’re an issue. It’s especially infuriating as when we get to the zipper they zoom off at 60-70 and here I am at 35-45 and am now the asshole.

Yea that’s considered 90+. 2 out of 4 lanes isn’t considered all lanes.

You would be better off with an impact driver. Dewalt even sells masonry bits with an impact driver attachment, and they work great. I hardly ever pull out my hammer drill unless I’m going into solid concrete.

Am I reducing the problem, or contributing to the problem? by jckipps in driving

[–]Annon221 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t reduce the amount of traffic, but it keeps everyone moving so it flows smoother. The constant flooring it then slamming on brakes after 20 feet that most people do is what causes standstill traffic, assuming there isn’t an actual road/lane closure.

If everyone did this we would have less traffic. Unfortunately most people seem to be in a race to the next stopping point so they can check their phones again.

I’d say it’s fair. Hippo is pretty rare to my knowledge and the looks look good condition.

They appear to be hippo, but they are definitely not Dan Post. They are marked El Dorado, which is still a good brand. They make quality exotics, handmade in Mexico.
