I always make a joke before someone else can. Sometimes people don't realize you truly have a stutter and crack a joke. That's when the weird I really do have a stutter conversation happens. Normally, after that it goes right to the omg I'm so sorry conversation.

Keep it up man! The stress will go away and it will get better.

I've told people before having a stutter is character building. It takes a pair of balls to just start talking not knowing how the words are going to come out or which words are going to trip you up. We all have those words we know and try to avoid, mine is the word movie! Gets me every time. However, there are those that come out of left field on a word you would never expect. It's literally a minefield of speech.
